Beautiful experience in the holiest Sikh place. We visited at night (~9 pm) to witness the “putting to bed” ceremony and it was amazing . We also visited the kitchen and seeing the amount of people eating there was quite extraordinary. Keep in mind you need to take off your shoes and socks to enter the temple, but it is quite clean. If you enjoy this kind of place it is worth coming to Amritsar just to see this temple . The temple is very beautiful 😍

What a beautiful, serene place this is. It filled me with awe, not just the buildings, which are breathtaking, but with their serving free food, without any discrimination, to around 100000 people per day. Everybody is welcome to eat there. We did not eat there, but the immensity of the operation is huge and subsequently requires donations to keep this service going. If you visit this place, you will not be disappointed.

You visit this temple with your family group and friends. Mostly crowded place. You can come with your small children also.
The food (लंगर) was very nice. You should try this tyep of food.

This was one of the most beautiful and a place filled with lots of positive energy. If ur spiritually inclined you can actually feel the vibrations of this place. Though crowded, the moment u step inside, it's all worth the wait. A must visit!!!!
One of the most Serene Temples one could ever visit. Amazingly well managed, very disciplined. Neat and clean surroundings, Very well maintained. Despite heavy crowds over the weekend there was no commotion, crowds were well maintained, and Darshan was well organised . No crowding, No pushing, No commotion. Silent and peaceful movement of the devotees.Felt very honored and blessed to visit this gurudwara. There is so much history to explore around this site and I appreciated the care that went into preserving the ornate paintings and inlays inside of the temple. It is a beautiful temple and surprisingly quiet and peaceful despite how busy it was when I visited.
Beyond comprehension, so beautiful, so clean, so impressive. The langar is so well organized and well done. The water is so clean, and the atmosphere so friendly despite the massive crowds. Kudos to the organizers. Visiting the Golden Temple is a very spiritually uplifting experience. The temple is open to people of all faith and gives one the ability to do Seva, to serve humanity. its a must visit place at least once in a lifetime.
