Located in the interiors of Varca is this beautiful family restaurant “The Farmhouse”. My go-to place for quick family dinners. Ambience is good with a beautiful water fountain. They also allow fishing during specific hours. Food quantity and price is totally value for money.

I had only heard about this restaurant once from a friend and atlast I managed to visit it myself. I absolutely loved the vibe here. It was such a serene setting with nicely layed out tables and chairs, multiple water bodies, ducks roaming around and overall pleasant atmosphere.
Coming to food, we only ordered starters since they didn't have naan bread that afternoon, which we were craving so we skipped main course here.
The honey chili potato was too sweet for our taste. On the other hand, the paneer started that we had was really good.
Overall, nice place.
The zomato app showed us wrong direction. Hence we wasted alotbof time finding the restaurant.. Loved the food though. Flavors were spot on.. the ambience was also nice.. would love to go back
Great Concept, excellent food, and moderate price. Though the restaurant is not by the beach, it does has its charm. To go to this place you need to drive through the narrow village road. It's around 500 Mtrs from the main road. Once you are there. They have enough parking, a large sitting area so to get a seat on weekdays should not be an issue, but during the weekend you need to the reservation, as they get full during the weekends.service is a challenge during busy periods. We sat by the bar and ordered our drinks and food. We ordered Goan sausages and chicken salad. The food was of excellent quality. They had live bad which was good as well. The restaurant has its own small lake, they let the customers catch freshwater fish and the kitchen will cook it for them.

A very spacious, calm place. Loved the ambience and the live music. Coming to the food that we ordered my favourite were the prawns masala rawa fry, squid batter fry and caremel pudding. I felt the chicken cafreal wasn't as good as I had expected it to be. Prices are very reasonable.
Quite a peaceful place with lovely ambience. No parking issues either. Good pricing for the quality they serve. Tried the rawa fried mussels, oriental chicken, squids recheado and naan accompanied by mojito. Meat was properly cooked with good flavors and the drinks were very refreshing. One of those few places which served as per my expectations. Will definitely recommend it.
Lodged away from the noise of the City, Farmhouse Bar and Bistro definitely lives up to its hype, with it's quality food and aesthetics!
'Pub-ish' setting with an indoor and outdoor sit out against the backdrop of a lake that houses ducks and geese.

Started off with a Chicken dry fry (cannot recall the name!) with crunchy onions and greens. Delishhhh.
French fries are less oily here. Masala prawns are delicious, huge and tangy! If you wanna go Goan, sausage pulao is perfect.
Cheese stuffed mushrooms are Amazeballs (quite literally!)
Cheesy garlic crabs are so satisfying, but prepare to get messy.

4 stars for the magnificent ambience.. clicked so many pictures..food is above average.. went in a big group..tried a lot of stuff..but nothing that great.. liked the caramel pudding.. everything else was fine
The place stands out due to its ambience which is just lovely and peaceful. As for the food and service, it could be better and improved. The servers didn't pay attention when called.
The ambience is unmatched and the food is excellent too! Very family friendly, and they have huge grounds as well as farm animals which the kids seemed to enjoy.
Tried a little bit of the seafood and it was so good, it made me reconsider what I’d ordered! You will never have tasted anything like the baked crab before. However the pork tenderloin I had ordered was also to die for.

We visited The Farmhouse restaurant situated within the inner part of Benaulim, offering one a relaxing place away from all the noise, traffic etc. The setting is very pleasing to the eye. We had the mussels masala raw fry (fresh, decent portion size, cooked well with a good amount of flavour), beef tongue pepper garlic x 2 ( tender soft pieces of tongue, seasoned nicely, portion size was good and full of flavour), Chicken malai kebab (succulent pieces of chicken, making us reach for one more again and again), Goan sausage naan (Goan sausage stuffed in the naan all round, flavourful), crabs butter garlic (another amazing dish by The Farmhouse Restuarant, one and a half medium sized crab drenched in butter garlic sauce) for mains we all had the beef steak (medium) prepared really well and the accompaniments were equally good especially the butter infused mashed potato. For dessert I had the creme brulee (excuse the spelling if its wrong, not the best that I've had, but will do for a restaurant in Goa). We also had the usual non alcoholic beverages. There is ample amount of parking. The service is really good and attentive to requests. They also have live music. We had the pleasure of listening to Kenneth who sings very well.
Goa is my favourite holiday destination not just because of the beaches and the natural beauty, but because of such restaurants here.

I frequently travel to Goa as this is my favourite place and also near to my home town. Every time I make sure one thing is the best fish food. I checked review of this restaurant and thought to check this and I feel i really found a gem in pocket friendly price. This restaurant is not the main road but slightly inside. They have got a pretty nice area to develop a restaurant in a farmhouse style and the vibe here is very relaxing. When I checked the menu then I found the prices for food as well as liquor is very reasonable compared to other same category restaurants. I ordered some fish in fry and biryani and both were fabulous. I had the best food here that I'm going to remember. I found more localities here since they serve the best food in the area. Must visit restaurant. Preferred time is lunch.. thanks 🙏

Delicious food, great service, lovely live music, awesome environment n outdoor seating. Very creative interiors.
It was a long drive from Chikalim on a rainy day...but it was worth the drive by all means. Gem of a place, well maintained and great food. Would love to visit this place again.

Came here for lunch on 15 March 2023. Apart from a couple, we were the only family around. The place is set well, in lush green environment with a bit of interesting elements like ducks, birds, rabbits etc for kids. A fountain and well laid out decor is what keeps you happy.
We were two adults and 2 kids and ordered the following...
Chicken lollipop : were nice.
Chicken sizzler : nice taste but the staff should have served us in the plate. It became a mess for us to do so and this is the reason I'm cutting one mark.
Mocktails were nice.
French fries : not good. Very bland and not crispy enough.
Overall we loved the ambience but staff should be courteous enough to serve food in the plate.

My first visit to Farmhouse was for a family reunion. It was memorable, the sole musician singer was talented, chose our kind of dance music, the snacks were delicious, the actual dinner which was laid out buffet style for the reunion group was blah! Don't even remember what I ate.. nondescript.. the 2 desserts were disappointing.. especially the tender coconut pudding.. I've had better. The ambience was pleasant!
Visited this place for lunch with my friends for my birthday. Loved the live music, it made the entire experience more enjoyable. The service was good while I definitely think the food is good but it still needs improvement. There's so much to look at in the surrounding area when you visit this restaurant. A beautiful water feature to look at while having your food and also plenty of space to walk around right next a scenic pond.
Delightfully rustic atmosphere. Delicious food. Mostly meats, including seafood, but the limited vege selections are equally delicious—not just an afterthought. Live music or karaoke some nights. Highly recommended for a fun evening!
