The food is good... The ambience gets a full 10/10... Especially in the evening... The servers are also very polite and are active through out the restaurant... We ordered a sea food platter which comprised of 3 kinds of sea fish fried in various sauces ( pomfret and the kind), a tandoori prawn, squid and a side of French fries. The dish was 1350, which may be a tad bit pricy but considering the portion is was ok with.. however I ges hygeine is a source of concern as there were two dogs and three cats roaming around the restaurant. However, I would suggest visit this place in the evening for enjoying the ambience with a couple of beers.

Even though I visited benaulim beach since childhood, I never happened to visit the left side of the beach. It was only the right side we would walk towards. Be it for food, party or just an evening by the beach. One day I just happened to look towards the left side of the beach and saw this board that said “Rafaels beach bar and bistro”. The place is bang on the beach and looked good from outside. I went there for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. To my surprise we were the only customers they were catering to then. Also the beach had a deserted look in the afternoon. We ordered drinks, chicken sizzler and deep fried chicken. The food quantity was filling. Service was quick. Food presentation was also good. The ambience is fine and has a beach view. However it was more of a quiet lunch by the beach.
Quaint beach front restaurant which offers seafood as a specialty. We tried their mussels rawa fried which really amazing! The masala tasted so well yet not overpowering and so we had around 4 orders of these. ☺️ we also tried their calamari rechado masala, and mackerel. And all are very tasty and real fresh! Service is also very polite and efficient.
It was very great our waiter suhas made My dinner amazing this was second visit to this place I love there tandoori chicken will come when I am in goa. 😊

Must visit the place with family or if you are a group of guys is gr8 to visit. The hospitality they treat is as if you are their family members. Will like to visit this place again and again for their hospitality.

So its relaxing place to be on sunday evenings.
Renovated and newly opened. 10/10 for the location. Complete ambience. The owner ofcourse is very freindly and cooperative. Tried squids chilly in startes and must say the flavour was mouth watering.

Beautiful place to chill and relax while enjoying the view of the beautiful sea. Food is decent. Watercolour juice and peri peri french fries were amazing. Pork amsol was just decent. I won’t try that again here as I have had much better pork amsol in other places. The meat was hard and the taste of amsol was not there. Pork sausage pulao was good. Veg penne arabiata pasta was very disappointing for the price charged. Ambiance and decor was very romantic. The candles on eache table definitely added an aura.
Great spot for a beer and food overlooking the beach. The Kingpin curry & honey and chilli potatoes are outstanding. Visited many times while here
Rafael's shack is go to place located in Benaulim Beach, staffs are friendly food is very nice 👌 had been multiple times to this shack we had wonderful time.
Nice place to chill out at south goa, benaulim, with good vibes, good food, good choice of cocktails n drinks, ideal place to chill out before leaving goa.

Very nice service with wider view and near to sea . Food is good with most items on menu maintained . Service is done with smile all the time. Best place to spend time with awesome sea view. Prices are little high compared to other neighbour shacks.
It's a decent place compared to other shacks on benaulim beach. It's close to the parking yet away from the crowd. The food is good enough to enjoy when hanging out with a group of friends. They serve hukka which is a novelty. Their waiter are friendly and quick.
On the beach but just off the entrance. Very tasty and not very expensive. Service was par excellence. The play list was a series of great songs one after the other. Great experience overall!
A picturesque spot to unwind and soak in the serene ocean view. The cuisine is satisfactory, with standout items like Crispy Chicken Wings. However, the Chicken Masala didn't quite meet expectations, but the Naans were crisp and delicious. The ambiance boasts a romantic charm, enhanced by the enchanting decor and the cozy ambiance created by candles on each table, but our table didn't have a candle.😀
