A great place to grab a cup of coffee on church street, situated in on of the most happening places in Bengaluru with a great ambience and crowd provided delicious accompaniments.
My fav place since college. I would go here every single day with my best friend. I love their mocha shakerato, it’s a nice place with good coffee and if I want to sit out and read my fav novel, this is the place I go to :)
Lovely cafe to spend the evenings out on Church Street - for both work and leisure. Great seating arrangement, absolutely cozy. Honestly, love everything on the menu. However, I do have my favourites. Caramel shekerato, Chicken burger and fries combo, Chicken Penne Nepolitana, Mediterranean salad, Chocolate cake, Brownie, Cheesecake and their Tiramisu is the BEST!
Matteo has been around for ages, I was here once 8 years ago, and now a month ago and the quality of coffee and service is still top notch, if not better.
Delicious coffee served here, and it's hilarious how a new Starbucks has opened right in front of it, and it looks empty compared to a much older matteo across the road. It's almost a symbol of great classic Bangalore cafe! 👌
The music was suitable for a pub than coffee shop and everyone sitting there were shouting rather than talking. I wish it was less loud. Apart from that everything was great. Staff, food drinks. As usual, just great.
This place was always my goto place whenever I head to church street . I love this place because of its creamy pastas. Form last 4 years I have been coming here .
This time it was different , we went with a group of 4 friends . we did not get place outside , we had to seat really inside .
Staffs they were really not taking our orders , we had to wait do 20 minutes to place an order .
Pasta was good as always .
Chicken burger was more of mayo and cabbage and less on the chicken side.
Didn't like it at all.
And panert wrap it sucks.
This time the failed to impress me over here
What happened to you guys?
A very lively and jazzy cafe to chill out with outdoor seating. Basic ambience , Good vibe and delicious savoury - to be looked out for and must visit for.
A really cool place to enjoy your chats over coffee. The place was packed being a Saturday as usual but the service was quick. Loved the freshness of the brownie and ambience is something to come back for.
Ambience is awesome, liked coffee latte and crowd. Real good feel being here and sipping cup of coffee.
The price is reasonable and the size of the pastry is big! Just loveee the Blueberry cheesecake!!!!
This place is a vibe. Been here a couple of times. The drinks and snacks are really good. But it’s a place where you can just hangout with a good cup of coffee or hot chocolate, listen to some good old music and relax. My fav time to visit is after 8pm as it won’t be too crowded. I honestly don’t come here for the food as I love the vibe of this place more.
I have been to church street many times but didn't get the chance to visit Matteo Coffea and finally today we got a chance to visit the place and it was an awesome experience with food and their coffee. The place was good even impressed with their service, keep up the good work however prices were a little high due to its location.
I would definitely try this place again.
This place is also.good for the kids and they have options available for kids as well.
Coffee options are really 👍👍👍
Thanks 👍👍👍😊😊👍👍👍
Nice cafe with good vibes and yummy food to munch on. Perfect for a casual brunch or if you are craving something sweet. Quantity served per dish is enough for two people... Parking is a problem as it's located in a side lane of Churchsteet
Matteo Cafe is a decent place that boasts a prime location just steps away from the metro station. Their coffee is a delightful surprise; it's rich and flavorful. One unique aspect is that you have to explicitly request no sugar if you prefer your coffee unsweetened, as it's typically served sweet. The french fries we ordered were enjoyable, and the pricing is reasonable, with an average cost of around 500-600 rupees for two people. A unique coffee experience for those looking for a change of pace.
Great ambiance. A good place for coffee lovers. There are a variety of coffee options. We tried their hazelnut and caramel cold coffee, which were perfect (not too sweet and not too bitter). Also their peach green tea was great. A perfect spot for coffe lovers.

Brigade Road and its surroundings don't offer many spacious cafes. However, this particular place is quite spacious, and you usually won't have trouble finding a seat. It's not the best spot to work though, as the seating setup isn't work-friendly and it can get quite noisy due to its close proximity to other activities. The food and drinks are decent, but not exceptional. Of course, I haven't tried everything on the menu, so it wouldn't be fair to make a general judgment.
Though the food is nothing to write home about, it's the ambience and atmosphere of the place that stuck out most to me. The staff was very quick with serving the food too. Overall, a good place to sit and do some work on your laptop, or just meet some friends
I really loved this place, stopping by every afternoon to take a break!
I always order some ice tea (served with a syrup, to let yourself deal with its sweetness 😍) and a piece of cake (layered with cream).
Waiters are very nice and the prices there are really good for the area.
From the covered terrace, you can see the busy road and enjoy a good book (bookstore is just next door 🤭).
Also tested their egg sandwiches, and I was surprised by how good and well-stocked it was 😳.
Sometimes, you'll have to wait a little to have someone taking your order (very busy near 3pm but okay near 2pm).
Had a nice lunch at this well located cafe'. It's a rather large restaurant with plenty of indoor seating and covered outdoor street side seating.
Service was polite and brisk and the food tasty.
we had iced coffee latte, penne in cream sauce, penne bolognese and spicy lamb burger. The Coffee and the penne dishes were particularly nice. The lamb burger was too smothered in mayonnaise to get the flavour of the lamb patty.
Great food. Great energy. Walking distance from MG Road metro station (Church Street Exit).
Portion sizes are huge.
