We went to Tea Villa Jayanagar for dinner on a weekday. It was not very crowded and service was quick. Their cheesy nachos was really tasty and I would recommend it. Their Chinese Bhel was also good and the quantity was good. Their Hazelnut Hot Chocolate could have had a thicker consistency. It was very sweet and did not taste like cocoa. Their main course portion sizes was a little disappointing. However, their tomato and cream spaghetti was really tasty and so was their burnt garlic fried rice. We however, did not enjoy their Nutella waffles as much. The ice cream with the waffles did not taste that good and felt a bit stale.
Decent place to have food, would suggest it’s nice to sit and chit chat. Food was good enough but not worth the price, pizza was way too thin only with a lot of cheese. Very accessible and ample parking is available. Best part is it is a pure veg place. Service was okayish.
Situated on Jayanagar main road, the Tea Villa Cafe stands out with its distinctive name, a pink-hued building, and an entrance that deviates from the norm. Unusual for a cafe, it features a closed door reminiscent of fine dining. Inside, a tea bar counter and cashier greet you, adding an unexpected touch. The first floor exudes a formal restaurant atmosphere with somewhat uninspiring decor, but the redeeming feature lies in the balcony seating. Specializing in vegetarian cuisine, the menu is notably restricted, although they boast an impressive tea selection. Unfortunately, the staff's training leaves room for improvement, impacting the overall dining experience.
