Had a very experience, felt like chef already knew my taste.
Fish was awesome and would for sure add it again for my next order.
A nice little place in HSR. The interior is well decorated with Chinese nick-nacks. The food is good though the serving time is a bit long. Also there is a wait for the table as well especially on weekends. The price is moderate. The staff is courteous.
The best Thai Green I have ever had in my life. Also the Hakka noodles are really awesome. I would recommend both Veg Thai Green and Hakka noodles. Worth each single penny.
A very quaint little dining place, comes with an excellent spread & personalised service both efficient & quick. Love the menu, helpings are good & the taste of the food lingers. A must visit place, strongly recommended if you are looking for value for money & some authentic Indian-Chinese gastronomic delight.
It's medium+small restaurant but with authentic food with knowledgeable staff. Might have to wait for 30 min on weekends.
Great value for money
Ambiance 7/10
Taste 8.5/10
Value for money 10/10
We visited this place on a Sunday afternoon after searching for a good place specializing in Chinese cuisine and SICHUAN was the best decision we made.
Coming to this place,
This is a small place with very comfortable seating which takes you to mini China with less Chinese people and Corona-virus.
Coming to the food,
VEG HOT DRAGON SOUP: This is one of the best Chinese soups I've ever had. Very flavorful, moderately spicy served with Chinese noodles on top is the best soup to start WITH. MUST TRY!
CHILLI HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN : The quantity is more than adequate for two and tastes exactly like the name says honey chilli mustard chicken. ' Feeling Content' was the facial expression of the people that ate this dish.
VEG BAMBOO RICE WITH CHINESE VEGETABLES AND MUSHROOM : The presentation takes the game here. Served in a cut bamboo, the rice has a very smoky flavour to it. As the smoked rice itself is very dry I would suggest you to order a gravy which I unfortunately didn't. MUST TRY!
CHAR KWAY TEO noodles : You will definitely embarrass yourself in front of the waiter before pronouncing it correctly however this dish is made with Malaysian flat noodles that has chicken, prawns paste, shrimps, bean sprouts what else could a non-vegetarian ask for. The quantity again was more than ample for two.
Overall this is an amazing place to have mouth watering Chinese food at a very reasonable cost when compared to the quantity they serve while seating comfortably.

Sichuan is a nice place to visit if you like the Chinese cuisine. The honey chilli crispy chicken was quantity wise quite good as starter. We have been here for a weekend lunch. In main course we ordered a non veg noodles and fish. But apparently fish quantity was less. But other than that taste and all was pretty good.
Small, Clean place to hangout. Staff and service both up to my expectation. Thanks a lot for the quick and organized service. Choupsi with fried noodle and Hunan chicken are worth a try. Can visit another time.
Very good food, must try. Quantity and Quality both outstanding.
Good Chinese Food, good quantity, lot of options available for both veg and non veg.
If you are specially going for Dim sum/ Dumplings, you might get disappointed as it's not available most of the time.
Ordered lime soda also but it was bad.
Overall good taste.
Must visit for Chinese food hunger.
A really nice restaurant serving good Chinese food. Tried their chicken lollipop, black pepper prawns and fish in hot sauce for starters, which were really tasty and amazing. For mains, we ordered prawns fried rice and chicken noodles with garlic sauce based chicken dish which were also really good and delicious. Their service is nice and quick and staff is helpful. The ambience is nice and comfortable.
Nice little place with very delicious food, ample quantity and good service.
We have tried multiple chinese dishes, all of them served justice to the restaurant name.
You get spicy, non spicy, veg and non veg options available. Kung pao chicken, honey mustard chicken (sweet) and Five spice aromatic chicken are good.
Fried rice and noodles are also delicious. Rush hours on weekends you will have to wait as seating capacity is low but it is worth it. The staff and even the owner are very attentive and provides great service.
Prices are reasonable too.
Shichuan is a gem of a Chinese restaurant located in HSR. Despite its small size, the place gets crowded because the food is absolutely worth the wait. The menu has a wide variety of Chinese food options, and my personal favorite is the Vegetable Manchurian. The parking space in front of the restaurant is convenient, and the ambiance is perfect for the theme of the restaurant. The decor is traditional and creates an authentic Chinese dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Shichuan for anyone looking for delicious Chinese food in HSR.
Visited this place on Saturday, dine in space was small. Food was good and rich in flavours. The soup was delicious with all flavours perfected blend. Same goes to starter. We tried their shrimp bamboo rice which was amazing although the quantity of shrimp was less and more of veggies but flavour full.

Almost a decade old restaurant, Sichuan serves you Chinese delicacies at budget-friendly prices. Located at HSR Layout, Bengaluru, this place is perfect for small gatherings craving for delicious chinese cuisine. From magic moctail to thai basil soup, to dumplings, to chicken wings, a few more starters and main course, i loved them all. The balance between the sauces and spices were spot on. All-in-all, a lovely cozy place with good food and courteous staff..
This chinese restaurant I visited had a cozy and inviting ambiance. The decor was traditional, with lanterns and Chinese artwork on the walls, creating a authentic atmosphere. The lighting was dim, which added to the relaxed and intimate feel of the restaurant.
The dumplings were freshly made and delicious. The wrapper was thin and delicate, and the filling was flavorful and well-seasoned. The dumplings were steamed to perfection, with a nice balance of soft and chewy textures. They were served with a variety of dipping sauces, which added another layer of flavor to the dumplings.
The overall Chinese food offered at the restaurant was excellent. The menu had a good selection of classic Chinese dishes, such as Kung Pao chicken and hot and sour soup. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, and the portion sizes were generous. The restaurant also offered a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options, which was great for those with dietary restrictions.
The service was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made helpful recommendations.
Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant.
Sichuan provides authentic Chinese cuisine, it's a small restaurant, interiors are good , service is great and food is delicious.
Awesome taste... everything we ordered was so tasty. Completely satisfied. 100% value for money.
If you’re looking for a cozy place to enjoy your Chinese cravings, hop in to Sichuan. If your focus is on good food , quick service with a smile and not much on ambiance, then Sichuan is your place.
We started with
Manchou Soup [Chicken] and
Thai Lemon & Basil Soup: more of a clear soup, with chunks of chicken and lots of basil.
The appetisers were
Lemon Oyster Chicken: sweet , garlic sauce covered in some crispy chicken.
Gong Bao Chicken: cousin of kung pao chicken, again crispy and flavourful.
Nasi Goreng [Prawn]: definitely didn’t let us, totally go for it.
They have for clay pot and bamboo dishes as well, do try it if you’re searching for something new and different.
Special shout-out to
Thai Chilli Basil Prawn
Chilli Honey Mustard Chicken
Hunan Chilli Fish
Loved each one of them!
