I have always been a fan of mainland china or asia kitchen by mainland china for the wonderful food and experience they give. This outlet also didn't disappoint me. It was rather an amazing experience every time i set foot in any of their outlets. To start with i had Their lung fung chicken soup which is basically a ginger and coriander flavoured thick soup along with egg white. The soup was absolutely amazing, one of the best i have had in recent times. The reason i visited this time was for their Philadelphia cheese dumplings. The way the cheese in the dumplings melt and burst out flavors is just amazing. Then i tried the Japanese pan fried mushroom dumplings which was also amazing. I must say that i have never been disappointed with any kind of dumplings from mainland china. Next i had the lemongrass prawns which were just fantastic with the right amount of seasoning and lemongrass flavor in it. Then i tried the pan fried bbq fish which were also fantastic. Appetizers are an absolute delight here. With so many appetizers, i decided to take lotus leaf wrapped rice which has been a hot seller for quite a long time here. Do try if you visit here any time.

It’s almost 3 decades and Mainland China has spread the warmth across various cities , be it Kolkata , Mumbai or Namma Bengaluru .
They have been serving some sublime Chinese fare to their patrons with utmost love and affection.
When I heard from them that they have launched a new menu choose to pay a visit and relish their offerings .
Right from shorteats to maincourse they ensured to bring in the nostalgia factor .

Mainland China is located in Kalyan Nagar main road and it is easily visible from moving vehicle, they have Valet Car Parking option which is really useful.
Interior is inspired from Chinoiserie and perfect place for dinner with family or friends.
We started with Chicken Lung Fung soup with egg white which was full of froth and very refreshing, loved the soap.
In appetizers we tried the following items:
Philadelphia Cheese Dumplings: Loved the dumplings, it was jaw dropping delicious.
Pan fried chicken Mashroom dumpling:
Pan fried Chicken Mushroom Dumplings. dumplings are filled with aromatic herbs and savory seasonings, they are delicious pockets of fun textures and flavors.
Pan fried Barbecued Fish : Shredded Basa fish fillet in Barbecue sauce with cumin flavours. Must try.
Sichuan Pepper Chicken with Cashewnuts: Tender Chicken cubes in pepper Sichuan sauce and chili sauce, it was really delicious with full of flavours.
In Main course we had Spice Chicken in roasted garlic along with Singapore Vermicelli rice Noodles, it was perfect combination, really tasty and different.
Delighted with the overall experience, must visit place for trying some lipsmacking Chinese food......

Mainland China has been my all time favorite whenever it came to dimsums and this time was no different as I chose to indulge in one of those vegetarian dishes - the Philadelphia cheese dimsums. They're super delicate by make and by flavours too, you can barely pick them up using chopsticks if you're not a pro and the filling is purely made from smooth and creamy Philadelphia cheese.
Other than that, I also gorged on some Japanese shitake mushroom and chicken dimsums that were in kothay form, pan fried till golden brown on one side.
Then I had the 5 spice chicken with cashew nuts - the spices that the chicken was tossed in went very well with some toasted cashew nuts which made for a delicious combination of sweet and spicy.
Also had lemongrass prawns - a very rich Thai like preparation of prawns in a rich red paste with the strongest flavours of lemongrass , a very indulgent starter indeed. Also, I had some berry vodkatini on the side.
For main course, the fried rice wrapped in lotus leaf was absolutely stunning for you don't expect such brilliant flavours of a dish that looks very simple!
Along with that, do have the fish in XO sauce.
To end the meal, I had mango panna Cotta but you could also opt for the chocolate dome and much more

So recently visited this outlet for dinner. They have released a new menu, and we got the opportunity to try those. The ambiance, the moment you enter, gives you the east asian vibes. The music, the decoration and the arrangements gives you the proper authentic feels. We started with few cocktails, like lemongrass, mojito, vodkatini. All all of them were amazing. Not much sweet and good enough to make anyone tipsy. We started of the new menu and ordered a lot of things. We ordered Lemon Grass prawns, Pan fried Veg Mashroom dumpling, Pan fried Barbecued Fish, Batter fried five spice Chicken, Sichuan Pepper Chicken with Cashewnuts for starters. The philadelphia cheese dumplings were the best. They were soft like anything and melts when you put in the mouth, and bursting all the cheese flavours inside. The pepper chicken served with cashewnuts were amazing too. The rich flavours of the nuts were making the chicken taste extraordinary. Batter fried five spice chicken was not great, but apart from that everything else was so perfect. Properly cooked, tender and great taste of the spices and sauces.
Next we ordered Singapore Noodles and Lotus Leaf Wrapped rice for maincourse along with king prawns in xo sauce and spice chicken in roasted garlic. The noodles were amazing and had a different type of authentic chinese flavour. The rice was served inside a lotus leaf, and it was perfectly steamed.

I've been to this particular outlet a couple of times already. Mainland China is one of the safest choices for Chinese food in terms of taste.
The Kalyan Nagar outlet, in particular, marries great tasting food with excellent service. When we dropped in for lunch, we decided to go in for the lunch buffet (really good VFM on a weekend, and I would guess even better value on a weekday!). Soup and starters served at the table, with a LOT of starters. So much so, that we pretty much skipped the main course.
Service was great throughout. I really can't give enough positive comments.

We have always been patrons of Mainland China. This was our first visit to the Kalyan nagar branch. The meal was good as usual. We were specially taken care of by Raju. His service made the meal even better!

On my recent trip to Bangalore after my work was done and I was returning home. I saw mainland China right next to were I was staying. And now being a Chinese cuisine lover I went to dine in their the very next day.
Firstly, as you enter the restaurant and sit there they serve your cucumber & carrots salad which taste amazing.
Then the waiters will get you a tab were you can place the order and submit. It was a quick service must say.
Also the staff was so helpful in serving and also not disturbing the conversation at the same time. Excellent service I must say.
We ordered,
1. Singapore rice noodles - It's vermicelli noodles with shredded vegetables. We ordered a large portion for two of us as we were really hungry. And the portion is more then enough for two people to satisfy your hunger.
It taste really good with all the assorted vegetables and it was totally shredded which makes it easy to hold on while eating. And with the noodles we ordered a side dish.
2. Chicken in Black Pepper Sauce - This is a must try. Shredded chicken tossed in a robust black pepper sauce. It goes perfectly with the noodles. I bet you won't regret this combo. I personally recommend this two dishes. Also we ordered a large portion of it. Totally worth it.
3. Braised chicken in smoke chilli sauce with Wok Tossed Chicken Hakka Noodles. Also when I visited the second time we ordered this combination and the staff was really helpful in selecting the best for us. Suggestions were really helpful. Chicken was really juicy and had a smoky barbeque flavor to it which blended well with the Wok hakka noodles.
I had availed ZOMATO GOLD here, my experience was totally worth it. I loved the place so much that we had dinner here back to back for three days. And each time it cost me like 500-600 bucks because of the gold membership.
The service of this place so amazing. Even the staff they serve you well and keep an eye on you while you finish the serving without even disturbing you. Always ready for the next serving. Excellent service by the team. Appreciate it a lot.
I look forward to visit here again Soon on my next trip.
I am not a big fan of Chinese cuisine. But this place is exceptional and I love the food here. It is expensive but worth it. The service is fantastic too. The portion size is good. The place is well maintained, and there is plenty of seating. The only small drawback is that the restrooms are on a different floor.
Place is good, Decent attendees, Food is to the mark. Yes but quantity of the food is less for Dimsums.
Jasmine tea is complementary.
Had been to HBR outlet.

My recent visit to Mainland China restaurant left me thoroughly impressed. Subrata and Biswajit's service was exceptional, elevating the dining experience. The standout dishes included the succulent Prawn Hargao and the aromatic Basil Chicken Dumplings, both bursting with flavor. The Singaporean Noodles with Soy Garlic Prawns were a symphony of tastes, and I couldn't get enough of them. Lastly they offered some complimentary Jasmine Green Tea which was for me atleast a great way to end the meals.
However, there was a minor letdown with the sushi; it didn't quite meet the high standards set by the other dishes. Nonetheless, the overall experience was fantastic. I would give it a solid 4 out of 5.

Mainland China has introduced a 10 Course Lunch set which is available from Monday to Thursday between 12 PM to 3:30 PM at Rs 695 + Taxes. The set lunch includes Soups, Dimsums, Appetizers, Main Course Gravies, Rice, Noodles and Dessert. They have the option to choose between Veg as well as Non Veg.
In soups in ordered for Chicken Lung Fung and started off with Basil Flavoured Chicken Dimsums. Both the items were really great and tasted well.
Coming to starters, i ordered Wok Tossed Cottage & Diced Chicken With Assoted Pepper. The starters were made to perfection. Also, the portion size is really great.
In Main Course, i had Celery & Cabbage Fried Rice with Mandarin Fish. The quality and quantity of fish was good and it went very well with the rice.
Ending with dessert, i ordered for Honey Noodles & Vanilla Ice-cream. It was a perfect ending to scrumptious meal.
I really loved the set lunch here and would highly recommend it. Portions size are really great and taste is amazing. Do try the set lunch here on your next visit.

Love the sushi options here but not as authentic as your other Japanese restaurants.
They've restarted their lunch buffet option, which was put on hold for a while now. You have some wonderful options across both Veg and Nonveg categories.
The staff are very kind and well mannered.
The ambience is good, kid friendly too.
