I recently transferred my home branch from Jamshedpur to here. I wanted a good abi branch where concerns are addressed properly without having to wait for long hours. And this branch as an exception to other branches is very good. I went here for passbook address updation and it was done it 10mins. The bank is not crowded. Went in a peak hour. The bank infrastructure is really amazing feels like a private bank. Its very big has ample space for parking within its campus.
State Bank of India in Bangalore is located on St. Mark's road at the intersection of St Marks road and state bank of india road (St. Mark's circle). It is India's largest bank with market share of assets and one fourth when total loans and deposits market is considered. It is the main campus of SBI in Bangalore. The Headquarters of SBI are located in Mumbai.
Bank service is a bit slow , expected from any branches . One can use free WiFi while waiting .
After long I visited a SBI physically. Wonder whether all the branches are like this ….but this one did not have the government office look. Also the campus is large and green. Surprisingly the staff was very warm and attended to me quickly to my satisfaction.

I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews accompanied by 1 star ratings. However, from my personal experience of having visited this SPB branch 3 times in the past (one as recent as the first week of Dec 2021), I have a different opinion.
Firstly, I love the great location on St Marks Road. The total area of the campus is large and it houses several SBI buildings, but we only needed to visit the SPB branch. They have ample car and two wheeler parking spaces. They also do not charge for parking vehicles as I suppose all who park there are visiting for some banking purposes.
Further to the pandemic situation, the number of visitors to the branch has drastically reduced. We saw more empty chairs than customers. Staff didn't seem busy.
We dealt with our Relationship Manager Mr Praveen Kumar Jha. He is very obliging and helpful. We also had a discussion with Mr Albert who deals with MF investments. He was also found to be professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
As of now we haven't found anything to complain about and hope it remains this way for the foreseeable future.
Special branch has a lot more facilities compared to other branches.
The best govt office I have visited in India so far. If only other departments worked like this one. The staff is as courteous as you would find in private banks like HDFC.
I visited Bengaluru Main Branch of SBI inside the SBI head quarters campus in a week day, noon around 12 o'clock, and it wasn't crowded . Got done with my work within ten mins. Staffs were helpful and also easily accessible. Token system is followed in proper manner.
