We had an amazing time with BTC.. Remembered our good old Mumbai days. There is no compromise on the hygiene or the taste. We loved the papad churi and crunchy vegetables and the dal sheera was to die for. The staff were friendly and prompt.
A must visit if you miss the BTC experience being in Bangalore

Place is quite inaccessible for parking and seating.. but the food is good to compare to the other centre’s of BTC but the place does not offer same quality as Mumbai.
Quality is good to go and very light food to have for dinner.
But the largest hit back is, it is too noisy everywhere.
Best place to fulfill your appetite in mid of chickpete shopping. They have a big list of menu to decide on. Must visit place when you are in and around chickpete.
Good Food, Unexpected Restaurant in the Streets of Chickpet..
Just wow,i n my family cudnt stop as we got to know BBT is in Bangalore, their lip smacking PapadChuri,Ghee phulkas n chaas you shudnt miss..Mr.Sanket had taken our order n delivered on the table within no time..we were too happy to have mumbai food here..
Location wise situated in very congested place were stepping in is a big challenge, the biggest challenge is Parking,no parking in surrounding also..
Had heard about this famed restaurant chain of Mumbai and finally went with lot of expectations. I must say it lived above my expectations. Right from the ambience to food to service everything was extremely great! Pure spices and no preservatives are my delight factors and I loved the food even more. Strongly recommend B Bhagat Tarachand to those looking for traditional North Indian food. I'm going to visit again soon:)
I came with a group of friends, had a really nice experience, food is good, service was lovely.
Visited this place yesterday for dinner since we wanted to have some good Indian food. After having tried this place in Mumbai thought to give it a try in Bangalore too as we were not in a mood to experiment.
The service is amazing, food is delicious. They have various varieties in Chaat, Indian mains and Chinese food.
We tried panipuri, Malai kofta, bhindi, Papad chiro, onion kulcha and tandoori roti.
The taste was good and loved the service.
Good north indian cuisine. Taste is good and staff is very friendly. Rate is on higher side as per locality. Can introduce some less price thali options.
A great place for vegetarian people !! We ordered the veg special thali and it tastes amazing !! There were varieties and the quantity was great ! One thing that didn't liked much were there veg hara bhara kebab ! It was not that good ! Otherwise a good experience 👍
One of famous chains of restaurant of India with its first outlet in Bangalore, but situated in the most crowded area with zero parking space and in a busy commercial complex on a 5 floor with very small lift.
But once you enter the place it’s nice with great ambience and good friendly service. Surely worth a visit if you’re in this part of city
It was a great experience I had.. Right from the starters to the deserts. Everything seemed perfect.

B Bhagat Tarachand 🥘
Bhagat meaning Kind Hearted.
Back then in the 1890's in Karachi, even as a small business owner just starting out, he was a generous and kind hearted spirit that he would often allow regular customers to eat for free if they couldn't afford the meal. This earned him the title 'Bhagat' and hence the restaurant was christened 'Bhagat Tarachand' after the benevolent founder Tarachand Chawla.
I ordered
- Papad Churi
- Sweet Lassi
- Paneer Lasooni Tikka
- Tandoori Stuff Aloo
- Bhagat Tarachand Special Thali
- Tomato Soup
• Tomato Soup - Actual Tomato Soup with bread crums.
• Papad Churi - Favourite Marwari snack, preparation of crushed papad which are tossed in spices & ghee.
It was really good in taste.
• Paneer Lasooni Tikka - Mouth watering combination of Paneer & Spinach, cooked in a saffron based gravy and spiced up with green chillies.
• Tandoori Stuff Aloo - Barrel shaped potatoes filled with paneer mixture, marinated in yogurt masala and cooked in tandoor.
• Sweet Lassi - Authentic Punjabi Lassi topped with malai.
• Bhagat Tarachand Special Thali - Thali had option of Roti/Fulka, Paneer subji, Veg Subji, Dal Thadka, Gulab Jamun, Jeera Rice, Roasted Papad & Chass Glass.
Thali was really good in taste.
Overall
A very good 123 years of heritage restaurant in centre of the city. All the ordered items were fresh and very good in taste.

Tasty food and good service. Restaurant is very clean
Vegetarian food only. The food is really awesome but you may have to wait for the table as the place is generally occupied. Specially for north Indian foods . They have a wide range for Jain foods without onion and garlic. If u r going to chickpet do visit this place. They also provide take aways.
Food is awesome service is good also located in busy Chickpete area so cab preferred papad churi is the item to have
The food is so tasty and the cooking area looked clean too..If you are a vegetarian sure you should try this..But I found difficulty in searching for the restaurant as it is in the crowded area..but when it comes to food no words to describe
Very nice ambience, and excellent food with prompt service. Reasonable rate for quality on offer.
Best north Indian food in An around chickpet nice taste, food quality was good but bit expensive. Over all it I liked it. And They don't have parking facility.
Very good Verity in food, good ambience for family and friends, friendly staff gives good suggestions regarding food orders, only problem is parking.
