Sabudana Idli 😋
Bored of eating regular idli or rava idli?! Then you should try this Sabudana Idli at Upahara Darshini on DVG Road. Technically this is not completely made of sabudana as it won't bind so they will add rava along with that to prepare idli but the usage of Sabudana gives distinct and delicious taste to it.

Awesome place with budget menu in the middle of commercial hub like Jayanagar. Staff was very courteous and professional. They helped us to choose the menu. Even the security guard was very courteous and helped us get a table for four on a crowded day. Paneer Manchurian was delicious and quantity was pretty good. So was babycorn chilli dry. Malai kofta was not that good but paneer butter masala and naan were tasty. They also have option of bharjari oota for 150 bucks.
I love the masala dosas here!!! Today as it was Sunday, our breakfast is always from outside.. so today it was from UD, Jayanagar. The best is that they give you two dosas in one box and decently packed! The dosas were crispy and the alloo filling was yummy!! I am always going for more!! And it’s ideal for home delivery as well!! Highly recommend the dosa here.

Exceeded our expectations on taste, quality (freshness, less spicy), portion size, price, and value for money. Our kids also loved the food.

Quality food with a delicious taste to it. The dishes here are fast moving and the restaurant is usually filled with people. The management does a good job handling the people as well as the huge chunk of orders. The darshini area here is pretty small, the first floor service, as well as the adjacent chats and sandwich area is well built. Parking is difficult as this place is located right at the heart of jayanagar, but there should be good parking nearby. Prices are extremely reasonable, service is pretty fast.
The North indian thali was good. It costed Rs 160 per person. It included soup and an ice cream. The food was bit spicy. Otherwise it was good food at reasonable price.
Our favourite place for breakfast & all day meals. South indian, north Indian and chinese & chaats & ice creams. Always serving best quality without any change in taste & purity. A bit on higher priced , if it could be budget friendly, it can be an all mans eatery. Both qsr & sevice are available on 1st floor.

Upahara Darshini is my go-to restaurant everytime I'm in Jayanagar. A neat and tidy restaurant with excellent customer service. The food served here is extremely delicious, although the order takes a while more than usual to come but ultimately, it's worth the wait. Their night queen and gudbud in the dessert options are a must try!

This branch has comfortable seating and good service on the first floor. Ordered tandoori roti and aloo methi curry. Aloo methi curry (recommended) was very nice. One of the rotis was over roasted. The service boy immediately replaced it with another one. Service was a bit late even when there were few people. But the taste was very nice.
Outstanding customer service and very friendly staff. Too many options to choose from and the food is delicious too. Well prepared and freshly served. As a visitor the staff took time to explain to us the food and gave us some recommendations too.
I highly recommend it if you are looking for rich food menu and satisfactory service..
