Gun fire cikken was good and juicy....
Mutton chukka delicious and tender
Mutton bone less biryani was tasty and good
Food is 8/10
Service 4/10 hope may improve on service to customer... We had waited for atlease 1½ hr for food
Ordered the Chicken Biryani Jumbo Box and Chicken 65. The Jumbo Box was sufficient for 3 people as mentioned on the menu. It had 6-7 medium sized chicken pieces, which was well cooked (includes 3 boiled eggs). The rice was flavourful and tasted good. The Chicken 65 was deep fried, although the salt content was a bit high. The packaging was average. Overall it was a good experience, though the prices were on a higher side.
Yummy food , quantity is little less but it's worth the penny. Meat is cooked well. Ambience is awesome. Management is little slow , but service is awesome.Food is cooked well and served well. Worth the experience.👌
I love what they serve it’s really different and yummy but what I did not liked is the quantity in the price range compared to the competitive outlet. Else 😍 them
Had a very pleasent experience with the staffs at mg road branch, helped me decide on the best deals. Taste is as always, no compromise on the taste of the biriyani.
Excelent taste & good service.
Always a good place for lunch. Have been there multiple times but it's way too crowded and management is slow and they lack coordination during lunch hours. But the food is great, especially all their biryanis and curries.
Tried this place for the very first time. It was jam packed on a Sunday afternoon. We had to wait for 15-20 minutes to get a table. Due to the crowd the service is slow. The menu is wide but a few items that we asked for were not available. We tried the chicken biryani, meat balls, golden prawns, kotu parotha and chicken biryani. We liked the biryani, meat balls were dry and the golden prawns were okay. We tried kothu parotha for the very first time and didn't really like it. Ambience- 4/5 Food- 4/5 Price- 3.8/5 Service- 3.5/5
The taste of food is going low by the days gone by I'm air with no taste further.
Starters are worth trying once.
Prawns in the style of kfc with Mayo are good but prawns are like baby prawns.
Must try prawns for the satisfaction of the tummy mama.
I recently dined at a Thalappakatti in Bengaluru, and I must say, the experience was delightful. The biryani had an exquisite taste that left a lasting impression on my taste buds.
The meat was incredibly tender, showcasing the chef's skill in marinating and cooking it to perfection. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and I couldn't get enough of it.
The combination of spices and herbs used in the biryani was spot-on, creating a harmonious and aromatic dish.
This restaurant is undoubtedly a must-try for anyone looking for an authentic and delicious biryani experience in Bengaluru.
Excellent Biryani! Price is slightly high but the service and quality/quantity of the food made up for it. Highly recommended even for team lunch!
Tried Jumbo bucket mutton boneless biriyani. Flavour is very good, tastes more good with the raita. Complimentary Bread Halwa is a good one for your sweet tooth.
Do check out if you are tired of having dum biriyani and looking for a flavourful one.
We have tried mutton biryani, chicken biryani, black pepper chicken, gulab jamun with ice cream, and their special summer beverages. The taste was really good and we enjoyed the place too. It was quiet and not at all crowded when we visited. Only I would like to suggest increasing the portion of mutton in mutton biryani☺️
Established in 1967, the brand has multiple outlets across the city. Menu is quite exhaustive. We had chicken biryani and the portions were huge. Jigarthanda was a delight and perfect end to the meal comprising prawns and fish.
I absolutely adore their biryanis. The taste remains impeccably perfect. The only thing I feel is the quantity of starters should be a little more. The quality is amazing as ever. Overall a great place to enjoy some authentic dindigul biryani
Food was good. Everything was a notch spicier than expected. Service could've been better in terms of speed and order of service. Atmosphere is alright, typical mid premium biryani joint.
I actually really really really liked the outstanding potatoes in the dum biryani as they tickled my ribs and made me feel extremely warm inside as well as cooling me on the outside. The waiters, specifically Ramesh and charlie puchi (the multi Grammy award winning pop and rock pop artist) we're extremely friendly and took excellent care of me and my biryani.
Bengaluru is no doubt filled with biryani restaurants, but often it can get pretty boring trying the same type of biryani and starters. This is a reason why I decided to give Dindigul Thalappakatti a try. Located at the far end of MG Road, this restaurant doesn't feel huge but there is seating for plenty and is well lit. The washrooms are very clean and the service is good and the servers are friendly.
Coming to the menu, they have the usual north and south Indian type dishes but a lot of unique items as well like the Chicken Porichadu which is excellent not too spicy, not too sweet, just perfect. Their Chicken 65 Biryani was also very different from the spicy Andhra biryanis of Meghana's, Nandhana's and all. The rice is short grained but very tasty and the Chicken 65 (Boneless) chunks very cooked very well and equally tasty. Other items worth trying are the Mutton Nalli Chops, Egg Curry, Phulkas and how can I forget Jigarthanda, a refreshing drink made of almond tree sap and ice cream that is just the perfect finish to an amazing lunch. However, the Paneer Gravy and Paneer Tikka can be skipped as they are not that great, stick to the non veg items only.
I visited this place around 12:30 in the afternoon and make sure you do too as it can get really, really crowded around 1pm (Remember how I said its not a huge place). If you are bored of trying the same types of spicy biryani and kebabs give this place a try. #biryani #nonvegetarian #restaurant #familyfriendly
