Must visit for authentic and yummy Kerala cuisine !!
Amazing food - pls do not listen to bad reviews - this place is fabulous it if you like Kerala food - relished everything what we ate - peaceful and cool place
It was a rainy day and the weather was pleasant we went for dinner. Kerala cuine and it was authentic. We ordered karimeen, appam, malabaru parotta. Food was hot and tasty fulfilling loved it. Service was too good and friendly. Price is Lil high.
South Bangalore with the best southern backwater cuisine here at jp Nagar so if your, not a terraterian then it’s must visit the place to relish some delicious seafood. It was surprising as it was hassle free Friday evening. The restaurant is huge, wonderful Kerala style interior with a pleasant fragrance of backwater, and definitely, it is a place to dine, just to check out the amazing atmosphere created for our peace of mind. I loved their outdoor comfy seatings and decorations wit planted trees in the Kerala boat and I must say outdoor space perfect for photo maniacs. and #instagrammable memories. The menu is endless with so many dishes, in fact, we brainstormed to realise that, they have the good reputation for serving squid, prawns, fish and uthappam. We went ahead with their best dishes. The experience of the taste can only be smelt, felt and eaten (can’t be explained) but it was surely a lavish feast which made me sleep for hours post the meal. Must try the scrumptious fresh squid and fish fry. I had a literal feeling of lostness in the sea on a boat with mouth watery seafood which makes my journey endless. Service is polite and very attentive in taking care of our orders. Price is reasonable especially for the quality of food which is served. Don’t miss it out, it’s impeccable.

For those old timers, coconut grove evokes some nice memories of their restaurant in Church Street. I have been wanting to visit their JP Nagar Branch. I was surprised with the low ratings but went ahead and kept faith. I wasn't let down. The appams, the vegetable stew, ulli theyal and Malabar parotta are a must have for vegetarians. The desserts are awesome. We had ada prathaman and pineapple halwa. A must visit for those who love Malabar food. The only bummer is the poor maintenance of the toilet.
Coconut Grove at JP Nagar doesn't have the same charm of their MG Road branch. The food is pretty good, especially fish varieties. The best appams in town too; try it with Nadan Prawns Curry, absolutely delicious. The ambience is average and a little congested. I like that little outdoor seating area. Fish Fry, chicken fry, Chicken Biriyani, Beef Ularthiyath are very good. The price is a bit on the higher side.
Visited this place for dinner . The ambience is good and the staff are very friendly . The food is very tasty but over priced. The would visit again to try other dishes as well. Appam and veg kurma are must try.
I've been to Coconut Groove for lunch. They provide a good service and the ambience is also good. So coming to the food, we had chicken biryani and pepper chicken, the taste was so good that you'll love it. Talking about the price, it's a bit pricy but the food is really good 👌
Oh Fish! Here is a very simple, coastal style pomfret fish. Pomfret coated with a fiery red masala and deep fried to perfection 😎 At: Coconut Grove, JP Nagar #Bangalore.
Good experience overall, yummy food no doubt! He Coconut rice with any of the curries is a must try! Friendly staff here. Clean place. Should try the Moor Kozhambu (Curd based curry) if you like the flavor.
A quaint place. Good ambience. A decent menu. Andhra cuisine. Nice to have it in the neighborhood. Drinks choice limited to a few beers and mocktails. Cordial service. Good Presentation decent. Overall a good experience.
It is an amazing restaurant! Simplicity to its best! The decor is pure and beautiful! The food is authentic and genuine deliciousness. Loved everything there. Couldn't click many food pics. Non veg starters with chicken are very few. Biryani, Kerala style. The one thing you should definitely take.
Amazing kerala food, Ambience and friendly staff. Tried out appam and chicks stew. The taste was spectacular. The wait was a bit long. The service is good but can be improved slightly in terms of attending customers. Highly recommended.
If you love Kerala food, this is the place to go to. Check out the mutta appam, chicken and shrimp. Downed with lime soda and Malabar moru. Plus there's beer. The outdoor seating area on the first floor is the place to be. But if that's taken, the indoor seating's good too. Depending on the food, some of the preparation can be oily. So best to ask the waiter if you aren't sure about the menu.
This is a great place to hang out with family, friends, or if you happen to be on a date. Ambience is awesome and the folks who work here are inviting and friendly. Food tastes amazing, and the alcohol is surprisingly affordable. Can’t find any legitimate reason to whine. Recommend it for sure.
This restaurant serves kerala cuisine food...the thali is sufficient for one person...the ambience is made according to the house boat structure....overall nice place to have comfort south indian food....mUST try is the payasam....full marks on the hygiene and cleanliness of the place
It was a splendid taste of Kerala. I liked all the dishes we tried. Idiyappam, Muttappam, Kerala Poratta, Mutton curry and egg curry. Nice ambience and all dishes were very well served. But yeah, way too costly. You can't afford to go on a regular basis. But giving it a short is worth it.
Excellent choice for an authentic South-Indian fine dining experience! The menu items are moderately priced (for a fine dining restaurant), with no main course dish or starter exceeding 500 INR. I had appams, Malabari fish curry, some Kerela style chicken and mutton in coconut milk. The food experience was heavenly. The restaurant also serves beer and other alcoholic beverages. The ambience is very mellow.

Good place with nice ambience, food is good, overall a nice experience with my team. 🖖
Coconut Grove is a South Indian restaurant having good options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. A small and cozy place with limited seating but competent ambiance. The menu is vast and the food is delicious. However, the lack of staff facilitates for slow service. A minimum 15-minute wait can be expected.
Parking Space is not available and you would have to find space nearby. Some items worth a try: Meals, Malabar Parota with Egg Curry.
