I am not from Odisha but i love Dahi Bara Aloo Dum. I loved the taste. Would like to try once in restaurant once open for dining.
The best Odia food I've had till date. The order was delivered well in time and no items were missing. The fish curry was cooked really well and had that subtle sweetness that I've always relished in Odia cuisine. Also, the ras malai was out of this world. Would highly recommend everyone to try it.
Lastly, would like to acknowledge the combined efforts of Kalingas staff and Zomato because of whom we're able to enjoy our favourite cuisines in tough times like these. Keep up the good work!
+s:
1. Order delivered on time
2. Value for money - The portion size is really good
3. Ras Malai 😍

Nothing at all
I went there with my family.. good service good food and nice .. staff is very Helpful.. we will back soon
Delivery review. Authentic Odia food. Great flavors, and everything was packed properly in just the right amount. One of the best samosas and dahi bada aloo dum I ve had in Bangalore. Sweets were a little on the sugary syrupy side but rest was all great.
I ordered after seeing the review of egg tadka and phulka roti, it doesn't feel like you're eating from a restaurant, it taste homely cooked food. Keep it up your service. And it doesn't have much spice so I loved it
Snacks & Sweets are the Best!!! One of the finest Odia + Northindian dishes in Bangalore. Must try #Samosa, #Chennapoda.
Loved the portion size. They actually gave good mutton pieces. Usually in thali you find one or two pieces that too those chewy meat.

Tried some odia snacks and sweets from this place. Special mention to the dahi bara alu dum. It was so flavourful and the bara was really soft.
The veg chop was also really good. I tried chenna gaja, gulab jamun, malpua, kheer kadam and Cheena jalebi. Being a person with sweet tooth, I loved all their sweets. I also tried their fish fry which was marinated really well
If you are looking out for some authentic odia sweets and snacks, I definitely recommend you this place. Do visit Kalingas whenever you are in and around BTM.
One of those nice typical old style small regional food joints on a regular street that is very popular with the local crowd. Typical Oriya food with very authentic snacking items - usual suspects like samosa, veg chop, alu chop etc. Their gugni is probably a unique item in Bangalore though ubiquitous in other parts of the country. Some of the sweet items are also worth trying - hi sugar alert on this one though.
We had a blast at this place. The restaurant is small but the food is authentically oriya!!!!!
The flavours are so original. I love how they have maintained the right taste of each and every sweet and the dishes. They also sell chicken and mutton dishes.
The fish fry is also awesome. People who love Bengali cuisine can also go there as the taste is too near to Bengali.
In case of snacks like samosas, vegetable chop , bonda it will be anyone's favourite.
Good enough for a small eatery. Food is hygienic yet delicious and it takes us back to our roots. It creates that nostalgic experience.
I recently went to this place for snacks and sweets in BTM which is well known for orissa delicacies. It is a small eatery(Odia restaurant) with few chairs and tables. It serves food, snacks and sweets.
Taste of food was good. We tried
Dahi bara aloo dum
Samosa
Veg chop
Kheer kadam
Chena jalebi
Chena gaja
Gulab jamun
Bonda
Dahi bara aloo dum was good. Bara was soft and going well with aloo dum and balanced masalas. Samosa filling was perfect.
All the sweets were fresh and enjoyable.
Everything was upto the mark. They are maintaining quality and taste of each item since a long time.
If you are looking for some odia authentic food and sweets and snacks then try this place in Btm once. Recommended 👍
Being a bong and out of Bengal I totally get the feeling of Fish out of water. To all my odia friends out there I have this exciting Odia dine in and take away place at one of the hub of Bengaluru (BTM). The food here will definitely give you a diligent scoop of Orissa in Bangalore with a hint and touch of Bengal as well. This is a small joint at BTM that can be ordered from through ZOMATO and other platforms. The snack items, sweets and main courses are just amazing. The benefit is even the owner speaks Odiya. Veg chop, shingara, Chanar jilipi, jamun, mach bhaja, chicken curry and mutton curry, chena poda, ghugni are few must have here. Do head out here for an amazing odia meal.
Very nice place for odia food in btm or Bannerghatta road area. They have a very good non-veg dishes. Don't miss their Sweets spread, you name it and you get it.
Kalingas is a small eatery in BTM layout where you get delicacies from Orissa. They are divided into three small section. One section serves you lunch/ dinner. Second section serves you sweets. Third section serves you snacks. They have very less space for dining in.
They have ample of sweets and I did try quite a few. They were perfect and fresh like the way you will get in Orissa or Bengal. Food was tasty too.
This Quaint Little Place in BTM 2nd Stage is a escape for all the Odia People Nearby. Serving Authentic Odia Breakfast and Meals/Thalis in a pocket friendly Price. Looking for Odia Sweets, may it be Chenna poda, steam cake, Chenna Gaza, Kakera and what not. This is one of the few places in Banglore serving Good Odia Food and letting people enjoy the same. Sitting arrangements are very less. Basically a take away place. Hygienic and great Taste at the same time. They also sell Odia style mixture.. I usually visit this place to have Gulgula, Vegetable Chop/ Cutlet, Kakera, Even Dahibara Aloodum is good, may not be authentic but what would you expect in a outer state. Usually Crowded please have patience to wait for your turn to fetch the food
Food- 4/5
Service-4/5
Pocket Pinch- 4/5
My personal experience is sweets / desserts are just too good. Not a fan of other savory items. If you are near by try sweets.
