Polar bear is a popular ice cream chain known for delicious ice creams and sandwiches. This outlet is located between Sadashivnagar circle and Sankey tank and has been there for more than 5-6 years.

-Comfortable but limited seating and very well maintained.
-It's never really crowded.

-Most of the ice-creams that I have had here are good-> DBC, Gudbud, Fruit zest..etc
-Loved all the sandwiches here, especially aloo chilli sandwich(with lays chips). They customized it according to our needs, which surprisingly turned out very tasty and filling!
Conclusion:
-Best option for ice cream and sandwiches when around Sadashivnagar or Sankey tank as it's comparatively cheaper than other hifi restaurants around.
-I love that they have maintained consistency in taste and quality unlike a lot of other food chains(as they grow bigger) which take their customers for granted.

We ordered DBC today . It was nice as always But I felt chocolate sauce was insufficient and there wasn't much of dry fruits which I love. And quantity also was little.
This is a one stop place where I get family pack icecreams they have rare flavours like Black Currant , Litchi, and Coconut flavoured home packs .
Even their Sundaes are pretty good I tried CHOCOZILLA and BROWNIE SUNDAE from CHOCOLATE SUNDAES . And from the scoops I tried the COCONUT ICECREAM . They also provide sugar free Icecream scoops too !
Service is absolutely perfect and there’s much space for parking in the opposite lane !
Small outlet comparatively wit only 4 tables... but nice and quick service and good taste... ambiance is cool right behind sankey... can take as a place for hangout...
This place has always been one of my favs for icecreams. The double chocolate sundae is my favourite which comes with choc scoops, chocolate syrup and brownie sprinkled with roasted almonds.. the macrooni sandwich is also a must try here!
When you know you love ice cream and Polar bear is few steps away, there is no way of resistance.
Their service is the quickest. We ordered for Tiramisu and mango berry. Loved the appearance of both!
Polar Bear makes a lot of our boring work days bearable. Love the ice creams, the milkshakes, and I have on occasion tried the sandwiches - the tomato cheese is my favourite. It surprises you with a mint chutney in there too! They also have some sugar-free options, which I think are awesome!

The place looks sweet, small and cozy, like the interior a lot!!
The only reason I feel bad about the place is because of the management.. The waitstaff are not responsive and lost in thr own world even when the place is filled with customers and they take quite a long time to give the order taken..
Apart from management.. Overall I feel the place and ice cream is good!!
A pretty and cute outlet near sankey tank. Very calm and usually doesnt attract much of a crowd, which makes it even better, to sit, relax, chill and may be even read.
I loved the sandwiches and shakes too other than the ice creams which are obviously yummy, and their forte.
Must try ? Cant say that, any other outlet would be just fine, but if you are around and you want something like this, that is a quiet and calm place to sit and talk, this is the place to go.
And yes, i love their cane/bamboo furniture too specially the tables, and the pebbles on them.

This outlet is comparatively small, very close by to Sankey Tank. If the door is left open, u can feel the cool breeze blowing from the lake.
Thankfully there's parking space at the main road. Its quieter out here...n feels peaceful!
Well it's the usual stuff here.
I like their Litchi Sundae. That's the only thing I like.
Their gudbud wasn't impressive! Banana split too!
Spinach and Corn sandwich is nice but I rather have that at CCD as that's better in taste.
But this place is good enough to manage a couple of hours of work on ur laptop if u like, while binging onto something.
If you are looking for good taste and can ignore other things then just step in and order.
The things to be ignored are on-demand air conditioning and sometimes refusal of payments through cards.

Menu: Known for its ice creams. Offers Assorted sandwiches, pasta and quick bites and shakes. Its offers take aways as well.
Crowd & Ambience: Ambience is very quiet. It is good all sorts of crowds- school, couples, family. Its a small joint.
Staff : It runs on a skeleton staff. But they are very helpful and prompt to respond.
Loved the icecream and the ambiance, pleasant staff, a place where you can enjoy your ice-cream and you are not shoved around because it's a no parking zone like many other popular icecream joints.
Polar bear is my all time favourite ice cream place... Dbc is the best here... This time tried brownie fudge n it was yummy

Small outlet at Sadashiv nagar. Cozy place to spend time. I have tried their Belgian chocolate icecream. It was good.
Ordered choco zilla and DBC... DBC is not that great. Corner house DBC is the best ... choco zilla was more of whip cream ...
Ice cream shop located just off Sankey tank, with nice views. Relatively quiet, cozy place with comfortable chairs. Some regulars prefer to be served at their cars, waiters seem more than willing to help out. Took a star off rating because it isn't entirely clear upon entering whether it's a self serve outlet.
Tickle your taste-buds without leaving your wallets lighter. The finest of ice creams can be availed here. Wish the place had more tables and of course, the parking facility as well. At least for two wheeler.
