A beautiful palace from the inside as well as the outside. This grand palace is a must-visit if you are a history enthusiast. There is an entry ticket for 240 rupees. They provide you with an audio guide which is quite helpful while you walk around the palace. Takes at least 1-2 hours to explore the whole palace. The vast greenery surrounding the palace courtyard in the form of a garden is another highlight you must not miss.
Better take your original id proofs if you want the audio guidebook. Otherwise you'll just go, see and come back without really understanding the history.
Entry fee is 240 per person and they expect cash. No online payments allowed.
A majestically beautiful palace from inside as well as outside. It looks royal and it feels royal right from the time of stepping in.
Entry ticket - 240 rupees and it includes audio guide. Audio guide is available in English, Hindi and many other major languages of India. Audio guide clearly explains everything in the palace.
It will take around 1.5 hours to cover it. There is a beautiful garden around it - very well maintained and it enhances the beauty of the palace.
Yes, ticket price is a bit high - but history and art enthusiats will definitely find it worthy.
Well, it was a great experience as I went with my friends.
So you better take people with you as it has a lot of things around to watch but you enjoy more with people there.
It has a beautiful garden which is so so good to relax and take pics
Click a lot of pics there
Palace is beautiful
I loved the front part of the palace
Loved it overall
We enjoyed alot
Nice place to be there. The queues are a bit confusing while taking tickets. Both cash and card options are available. Better to use an audio guide to understand it's background and history. They will ask to deposit the original govt I'd and will return back once you are done with your tour. You can cover it in approx 2 hours.
I visited Palace with family on a weekend afternoon. It literally took no time to enter the palace, the only time we waited was to buy tickets and get headphones which also didn't exceed 5 minutes.
The palace is pretty and audio well explained every part of the palace. Management has marked numbers on board. One needs to enter the number on the device and press Play to know the significance of that part of the palace. It is not allowed to carry eatables inside the premises. Limitation time of audio device is 45 minutes and a fine will also be imposed if there is any damage to the device. So please cover the palace within alloted time and handle the device carefully. There is ample parking space for both two wheelers and four wheelers so there is no issue of parking. There is a mini park to spend time with people around.
The only issue is lack of navigation to Palace within building and absence of any eatery around.
I explored Bangalore Palace on a weekday during the vacation season. Despite a moderate crowd, obtaining tickets took 8 to 10 minutes. The ticket price, at 240 per person, felt a bit steep for some reason. Payment options were limited to cash or card, with no provision for UPI or online payments. Inside, they provide complimentary audio devices for guidance. The palace boasts a charming front garden and ample parking space. Overall, a visit to Bangalore Palace offers historical insights, though the ticket pricing might be a consideration for some.
Good Place to visit for architecture and history lovers. The architecture and designs are good. After seeing this we can assume how the kings lived and the facilities they have at those times. They also provide audio phone which explains everything about the palace. Wheelchair accessibility is not there inside. The outside look of palace is too good.
5 stars for the royal ambiance photography is Not allowed inside; preserves the exclusivity. Audio guide omplimentary and enriching for visitors Big Positive. It will take Approximately 1 hour for explore. ₹240 per person; perceived as a relatively high big negative.
Impressive collections, including noteworthy Paintings Original elephant trunk and historic furniture on display
Garden Enhances the overall appeal of the palace
I visited two-three times, entry fee is 250 per person of Indian.
