Kerala style restaurant. Service is average but chicken dishes here was total disappointment, Specially Malabar chicken.
Visit this place if you want to try Kerala style fish dishes. Service is decent. Interiors is done in Kerala style with usage of boat.
Had been to backwaters twice and will be for sure looking forward to visit again with my family & friends. Hotel has the resemblance to house boat with quite decent interiors & good service staff.
They have a Keral, Mangalorean authentic items as well as they have Chinese cuisine as well. To sum up had a splendid experience in backwaters & would definitely advisable it to friends.
Amazing coastal food and ambiance. Must try the Aapam, Neeru Dosa, Manchow Soup, Egg Masala and Lime Soda.
My non-vegetarian friends liked the Chicken sukka here.

Stopped by backwaters twice and definitely looking forward to stop by again soon. Soon as you enter, you get transported to the backwaters of Allappuzha with the hotel bearing a strong resemblance to a houseboat that one would typically see in the backwaters of Kerala including the lamps, friendly wait staff and an excellent malayali playlist only adds to the ambience of this place. Coming to food,on the first visit tried the kerala parota with fish manchurian gravy and golden fried chicken (chinese). The fish manchurian was especially very delicious and the golden fried chicken very crispy and went will the sauces provided.
On the second visit, tried the chicken dum biryani which was rich with all the spices and the chicken very supple and was as good as any one might eat in Hyderabad. Also, ended up trying some Mangalorean cuisine availabe at the resaurant, neer dosa and chicken ghee roast. The chicken ghee roast was extremely delicious and well infused with the spices so that you actually feel the chicken melting on your tongue. This dish was extremely well prepared and is highly recommendable to anyone looking to try mangalorean cuisine. To sum up, had a great experience in Backwaters and would definitely recommend it to friends and the give the place many more visits.

Had a nice lunch there on last Sunday. Tried veg meals, Kappa(tapioca) - fish curry and Karimeen pollichathu(again fish dish).
Spices are rightly combined and the taste was so homely. Another interesting thing which I liked is the cooking preference, they cook once you order only so can ask for your desired spices combination.
Must try is Karimeen pollichath which is their trade mark. Also the kappa.

I have ordered soup from here. The taste was really good. We liked it. Price-wise also its is good. So much recommended . Next time will try some other items
Good food. . One of the best Kerala food that we have had..don't go by the restaurant appearance from outside.. Awesome food.. good service. . Courteous guys around to serve.. their Veg meals is a good deal @ 90Rs
Backwaters is an authentic Kerala cuisine restaurant. Appams are soft and tasty, Malabaar Parotha took me to Kerala. This place has many of the typical Malyali dishes. Best place to enjoy Kerala food
I visited the restaurant and ordered for the Authentic Kerela Meal, i must say I LOVED THE FOOD as well as the service provided.

Stopped for a quick lunch and if the spread got kerala cuisine then that's great. So the menu card wasn't that heavy on items. But the ambience got in there was tidy, as the name they've got the houseboat wala interiors which was kinda thumbs up. Got placed for the Non-veg Combo meal, fish fry, chicken varuthethu, amachi's fish curry and all sorta. Max 5mins and we got served but unfortunately in a plate which is always downer to have Sadya in plate. So the Sadya spread was good but not that great. We sure didn't get the authenticity in those dishes. So that's about it nothing special however tummy got filled in.
