Absolutely wonderful experience. Went there last evening and had the most lovely food made with pure love. It was my friends birthday and we had a quick bur happy evening .

Went out to sample some authentic Goan cuisine and walked into Casandre. Its a small house turned into a cozy restaurant which served one of the best xacuti and vindaloos i have ever eaten.
The fabled vindaloo was so spicy that I, who for the record have a very high threshold for spice, was left in tears! Sadly, they didn’t have Bibinca so we had ice cream and matka kulfi for dessert.

Really good food! Service is slightly slow but it doesn't matter once the food arrives. The ambience and vibes are really good. All 3 meals of the day are very tasty
A really calm & chill place near the Calangute beach that serves an array of authentic Goan dishes.
The interiors give that typical Goan vibe. They have an accessible pool table & a wooden dart board!
We were slightly disappointed with the Sangria we ordered as the wine was really strong & didn't go well but later on they changed it.
We ordered the rava fried squid which was amazing! It was cooked to perfection.
Also ordered Xucati which is basically prawns curry with rice. Do opt for Goan rice as it just goes along really well.
You have options of chicken, prawns & crabs as your meat.
Definitely visit this place for an amazing taste of Goan food!
Food is awesome....we ordered steak peri peri which i loved so much...it is too good... except this, we tried navaratan kurma, aloo paratha,lassa paratha which are also good...and we also enjoyed the drink..
The best part is its on the main road connecting to beach. Quite a crowded area, but this eatery has nice open area to sit and dine.
Staff is quite knowledgeable and courteous.
Cocktails : They twisted the regular cocktails a bit, though it did not taste bad...
Food : Had some chinese and seafood so that was fine. My Wife liked the Chinese food here much so we had to come twice ;)

The first lunch we had in Goa! Casandré!! It is located just next to Calangute beach! We ordered a fish platter, chicken caferal & pork roast. With Country fries and some beer to sum it up.Pork Roast was the show stopper as it was smoking hot and tasty. Peaceful ambience and friendly staff! Overall a goood place to hog.👍
Was visiting goa after a nearly a year and a half so unsurprisingly I was excited about getting a nice goan meal again! Casandréis on the way to calangute beach so it's impossible to miss . Its an old Portuguese house converted to a restaurant that I guess is a smart ploy by the owners to give their customers a good "susegad " experience :) Lots of stuff to enjoy along with the good food (warm up your stomach a bit with a game of darts or pool before the food arrives :P). In terms of specific dishes, I would recommend xacuti and the seafood platter to those of you havent tried goan food yet.
Superb portuguese ambience and it gives a great feel to the place. Great experience indeed. The Food was lip smackin and Finger lickin gooooooooood !
Nice decor. Good food and music. This place at least looks Goan unlike the other eateries in the locality. Our starter took some time to arrive which is our only complaint but the pros definitely outweigh that.
Casandre is the finest dinning place located at the Calangute beach, Goa. The ambience is simple yet very beautiful and gives you much of a homely feel! Not to forget to mention that the owners of the restaurant are among the most humble and loving beings we have ever met! Their hospitality is really appreciable. This is one of the best places to find authentic and yummy continental cuisines at Calangute beach. Me and my family just love this place and its people. We would certainly love to visit here again.

Very good ambiance..Good food and no disturbance even in the busy street.better to have food here ,rather than I n the beach side.had a nice dinner there.Waiters are little busy to clear the table before finish ..Which i feel..

Upscale, good for drinks n dinner .... U can watch the crowds go by while sitting at your table n enjoying your drink. Loved the ambiance.
