Have been here a few times now and have eaten both Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian (Tandoori) as well as pizza and everything amazingly tasty. In addition, they play good music, even live sometimes.

We had a fantastic time at Cafe Penya! We went on a friday evening, and the ambience was lovely. The food was easily the best food we had in North Goa this vacation (we ordered crab rolls, carbonara pasta, shark steak and king fish steak). The service is great and the music is wonderful! Would easily recommend this over other restaurants within a similar price range, just for the taste of the food.

We just entered the hotel as we felt it to have a good ambience.
For our surprise the food was too good.
Chicken tandoori was very fresh and yummy
Pinacolada was the best.(we had an offer of buy 2 and get 1 free)
Mushroom resitoo is good too.
Do visit this place when u r planning to spend some good time with friends or family near calangute.

The place is great. The menu is nice and there are lot of options to choose from.
Drinks were served by Ajay, he made great drinks and he suggested few shots as well. I would suggest that you try Long Island Ice Tea.
We were served by Ranvir. He was great.
They also played music from our playlist. We had great time.
You must visit this place if you want to have great time instead of putting your money in some random restaurants on beach.
Our experience at Café Penya was indeed a memorable one. We give it a 5/5 for food, drinks, host, and ambience. We actually landed there accidentally on our first night in Calangute, when we were out for a stroll, looking for a good local restaurant. Meanwhile, my husband was checking out reviews for nearby restaurants and found out "Cafe Fiory" that appeared too good to be true. We decided to go there and searched its location. After a couple of rounds around the location that led to Cafe Penya but was showing Cafe Fiory on GMaps, confused and hungry, we couldn't resist entering Penya owing to its super cool and attractive ambience. And trust us, it was a wise decision! Though the prices seem quite on the higher side, the food and environment are definitely worth it (far better than beach shacks). Mouthwatering seafood, authentic Goan dishes, equally good chicken dishes, and amazing hosts, all take a 5/5!!!
Great place the staff are brilliant will do anything for you .The food great are menu they do pasta Indian goan and more a vast variety. Entertainment was brilliant live bands the time was dire straits ,shadows, and more .I highly recommend this place give it a go .
This was one of the best place to hangout for good food and good music. Right near Calangute-Baga circle. Starters and main course all tasted good. worth a visit when you are neat Calangute beach.
