Ambience here is like avg.. they’ve been not maintaining properly.. but the food is good as usual.. I liked mutton biryani better than chicken biryani.. and chicken pallipalyam is spicy good.
Good food with very less oil and spice. Briyani was good nicely made.
Only negative is chapatti was made with maid but when enquired was made with whole wheat.
Over all good....
Good friendly restaurant nice food we ordered Chicken Kothu parota Chapathti Parotta Fish fry Naatu Koli fry
Everything was nice less oil I had to give 4 because of the salty Gravy
Fantastic authentic south Indian food like always! Loved the chicken 65, kuttu parantha and the prawn curry. They have come a long way in terms of their magnitude of operations. This particular outlet had many floors with each having its own kitchen.
Was amazed to see how packed it was on all floors. Wish we open outlets like these in the north as well. Look forward to many more of your delicious dishes in the times to come. Great going guys!!
Fish fry was disappointing. Still biriyani is good, The best Kottu parotha I have ever had was here. Rich taste of herbs and spices.
Okay, my review is done here I am just writing to make the word count.
since footfalls are happening they have not cared about ambience maintenance .walls are cluttered.table not clean.food taste is average .customers deserve more
Food: 4/5
Ambience: 3/5
VFM: 3.5/5
Service: 4/5
Overall a good experience.Do try out their fluffy Erode Dosai served with quite a few sides(esp the garlic and butter gravy).
Sunday afternoon and a family gathering .
Went inside directly asked them to merge some table and chairs without any hesitation it happened.
@Service was amazing .
Each of our family joined one by one.
Then we started to order. Bit late. But the food came instantaneously.
It made us happier. As we all had a movie to go after 30 min.
Food was great as always .
Ambience was decent.
Give a try..
Best biriyani. Best curd .
Best brain fry .
Do try .
Okay firstly, ratings on Zomato can be deceptive and certain gems can be way too underrated, and Junior Kuppana is sadly one of those places, which somehow has been in the hiding in terms of ratings and reviews.
I had this huge craving for hard core meat dishes and decided to have my food packed from this place. The mutton biryani is sensational and is very high on spice and the overiding aroma is of clove, cinnamon and cardamom. The mutton is tender and succulent, and on the whole this biryani leaves nothing else to be desired. The pallipalayam chicken, (which as they claim is made without any oil) is sinfully addictive and has the right blend of heat, with garlic and chilli kick, the chicken is itself perfectly cooked to juicy perfection and the addition of cocunut to the dish adds and extra dimension of flavour. It is surprising to see a dish that is so high on flavour being made without any oil, which also ensures that no unnecessary fat gets in the way of the natural flavour of the chicken.
However the vanjaram fry and quail or kadai roast are the real deal clinchers. These two dishes are too good to be true. The vanjaram fry is coated in a spicy masala, which to me consists of chillies, garlic and turmeric and fried to perfection. The crispy skin on the fish takes it to a whole new level, with the fish holding shape really well during the frying process and gives it a very good texture. Inspite of the crispy exterior, the inner flesh is creamy and moist. An absolute fishy delight!
The quail roast once again speaks volumes. The scent of curry leaves and dried red chillies is a sight to behold, and the quail is cooked with lots of caramelised onions, which adds a unique touch to the dish. The quail is handled in a perfect manner, and the bones too can be eaten without much fuss. The quail is a must try.
The vegetarian fare though is'nt all too good. The kotthu parotta though stands out in an otherwise dull fare. What is a carnivores delight turns out to be a herbivores nightmare.
One of my foodie friends suggested me this. Their quantity is less compared to their price. Tried mutton nalli fry and mutton biryani.. awesome.. egg half fry was good. Paisam was avg. Service were prompt.
Located in main place ... Good place for elders and kids not for senior citizens.. to access the lift or escalator we need to walk for a bit lift.. only few open seatings. The ambience is very good..
Good place for entertainment and to hang out with friends/ family
Closest to Vadapalani Metro station & Bus stop.

Huge mall and nice ambience.
Spar supermarket is in the basement, has good deals.
Food court is very crowded, even on weekdays.

The Nexus vijaya Maall is one of favourite mall in Chennai the ambiance is so amazing and we enjoyed the Christmas day celebration 🎉 it's really nice enjoyment for us
Good place with good ambiance. One of the old mall in Chennai. Very well maintained. We had a long discussion in the food court and the employees are customer friendly. Restroom is the only problem
A lot of people, who visit the mall, park their bikes in the metro parking area.
However, right now, the metro parking fee is quite expensive- it's the same as the mall parking fee.
From my experience, I would suggest using the mall parking, it's a better option.
I recently went to Spar Super Market, which is currently being renovated to include a large clothing section featuring the Easy Buy Brand.
It's one of the busiest spots in Vijaya Mall.
Inside the mall, you can find various branded showrooms like Max, Lifestyle, and Bata, among others.
The Food Court is one of the best spots in the mall.
It has a great atmosphere and a spacious dining area. Additionally, there's a play area for Kids „Funcity".
Biggest mall in Chennai and awesome shipping mall. Movies also available.
Very awesome and many varieties of goods and cloths, food available.
The environment is very good. Some items have good discounts which are good for shopping. During billing, it is seen that some counters are empty, the crowd is very high, the authorities should keep an eye on it
Awesome movie screens here..... especially iMax for the wonderful movie experience...... Place for brand lovers to get a great shopping experience....., Have a place to entertain your kids in a fun city....., fabulous food court to experience variety of tasty food..... have hypermarket to shop your groceries too.....
One of the good malls in Chennai. It’s easily reachable by going in Metro and get down at Vadapalani station. The movie Theaters, SJI palazzo is one of the best we can say. Food court has limited options. Can find most of the good affordable brands in this mall.
