Everything is served on fresh banana leaves. The staff here are extremely friendly. The person who looked after our table was Mr. Saravan Kumar. We asked him what is special in Mysore masala dosa and whether it contains garlic. Because of some communication gap (as he is from bihar) he didn't understand our question and we decided to try it out. Once the order came we got to know Mysore masala dosa is smeared with garlic paste. In my family all are allergic to garlic. Hence we told them the problem. Several staff came immediately and cleared our table without making any fuss and gave us fresh order. Finally we told Mr. Saravan Kumar we will pay for the Mysore masala dosa too. But he just didn't accept it and very politely refused it saying customer priority is of top most concern. The friendliness of these staff members really made our day.

The best place to eat podi idli and try the varieties of chutneys available but it burns a big hole in ur pocket, otherwise a do visit juncture to enjoy a south Indian meal
Last week I was in Chennai and hot to experience different variations of sambars and chuntneys.
Out of all, this place became my best take away joint.
The flavour of sambar was too good, the chutneys they serve were also flavour some. I got to try out their various other dishes from the menu item. All were too good and I must commend on their packaging, it was the best from all the other places I tried!

This is my first time here ( i know !) and as soon as I opened the door, i felt like i was stepping into 1980s ( in a good way). Set up was simple and they laid out the banana leaf as soon as we sat down. We had podi idly, paneer dosa, sakkarai pongal, normal idly and loved everything. Chutneys were decent and so was the sambhar - they refill everything from time to time. Service was courteous but rushed due to the crowd. Bill was approx 300 which was a really good deal for a restaurant of this quality. Looking forward to trying other dishes here.
The experience was decent, with nothing extraordinary except for the diverse array of chutneys. The service was attentive; extra chutney was offered before we could request it. Though pricier than comparable establishments, it appears that Murugan includes a brand premium in their charges.
The food is tasty, But the ambience is not good, It needs a lot of improvement. The service is very poor. They seem to be demotivated and unhappy. Very slow and uninterested in serving customers, as though they are running a free food campaign. They forgot that customers pay and eat. Still people come due to the previous patronage and name, which may not continue, if they don't change their attitude and service
Overall the food taste was good. Idli was very soft, fresh and had the amazing taste
Even if u try dosa you will fell you did not waste it. I will say you should try Murugan if possible.

Overall it good. Taste and ambience. Food is costly and quantity is less. Ghee podi idly is a must try. All chutneys are really tasty.
