Nice place to get all Bengali foods for people staying in Chennai. Though the sitting capacity is less but the food quality is good.you will get good food varieties and during festivals or occassions they serve some special dishes as well..
Been looking for quite some time, I came across Petuk to satisfy the bangali soul in me. Last evening walked into this place and ordered luchi, chicken korma and aam chatni to relish on. The chicken pieces were satisfying and juicy, cooked to perfection. The luchi is always good. Last but not the least, the aam chatni was the cherry on the cake (looking for more aam in it the next time). This place is going to be my go-to whenever I want bengali home food.
Authentic Bengali food. However, price is little on the higher side and the food options are very limited. Must try for the foody bengalis....
Food is good but nowadays didn't get the order of expected quality. Still it's really good.Guys, could you plz start home delivery in avin area if possible?
Only one in the area with proper authentic bengali food. Its a small place and takes a little bit of time to get the food. Leaving this two out, everything else is just perfect.
This is definitely home away from home...
Not so oily food.. Get touch of home made bengali food... Mach bhat s a must try for bengalis in Chennai since u don't get much bhaat often... I use to go here often.... May betwicea month to satisfy mah taste buds.. Love t... Always.. Though this brunch doesnt have that much varieties like the thiruvanmiyur one
The shop is doing really well. The place is small but you definitely don't have to compromise with the food. They serve really simple Bengali foods. The quality is good. The food will definitely give you a strong homely feeling. The service is fast and management is really good.
Tried one Rui mach and Rice. The fish in itself was fresh and tasty and so was the preparation with onions! The ambience and service were fine and clean unlike most other Bengali restaurants over here. Best stop for a Bengali 'Petuk' in Chennai 😉
Food rate is reasonable.
You have only a few tables here.
It's a bengali restaurant.
We tried chicken curry - 4.7/5
Paturi , that's mustard fish - 4/5
Aloo sabzi and rice .
Overall experience was great.
Aahhh!! A rarity in Chennai which serves Bengali food!! Small outlet in omr food street (heard their other outlet was larger). Food was fair for my liking, my Bengali friend loved it. Unfortunately, they didn't have rasagullas on that day and we couldn't try it!
