Went here with friends some time back. Ordered a typical South Indian thali, veg briyani and cauliflower manchurian. Finished off with jalebi and grape juice. An amazing meal for a very hot day !
The rosogollas are a must try here !

This was recommended by a local collegue when we visited for Veg Tamilnadu meal. Authentic and typical taste. The spread of curry, rasams with being guided what after what with rice was a experience. Cheers to the good food.

I recently went here to get some south indian food that I love since childhood and I ordered the paniyaaram (sweet and savoury) unfortunately I didn't have time to eat it right away so I ate late in the night , though the texture of the paniyaarams changed but it tasted good though specially the sweet one , it tastes jus like Adhirasam but they have to improve in packaging .. i qas travelling that night and unfortunately I had to dip the savoury ones into a cover for chutney, they should give t in a box so that it's convenient for everyone...

Just had an amazing experience at The Grand Sweets And Snacks. The store is very clean, hygienic and well maintained. A friend took me for an authentic South Indian meal. On the way back we picked up Puli Kachal mix. It reminded me of my friend’s Aachi’s home cooked food that I used to have as a kid.

GSS is one among my very few favorite veg destinations. Though I have already written review for their mylapore outlet, again writing because I had their mini meal n loved it.

Yeah, it was that awesome! We were running late n that's the only excuse for me n my dad to hit a veg place. This gss is on the main road n has huge parking area.
It was 11 n they hadn't started with meals yet. So ordered a mini meal n chappathi korma.

Mini meal had 3 varieties of rice- sambhar, curry leaf and curd. A sweet, chappathi n a poriyal. I fell in love with the sambhar rice instantly. It was totally yummy with mashed rice n had wonderful aroma. In fact, I told my dad that it was better than my maa's prep which doesn't happen often in the south cuisine :D chappathi korma was good too.

Also bought my fav n their signature snack, manoharam which as always was exceptional.

One drawback is that, the hand wash area is out in the front parking area. So when you gotta handle your wallet or phone after eating, you have to take a tiny walk :P

Grand sweets has always been my favorite sweets and savories destination. This one in spur tank road is beautiful. There is so much parking space and the place is huge. Its located right in the main road so its really easy to come here. The crispy jalebis are a must try if you go there. It tastes delicious. All their savories are mouth watering. One should taste their seedais. Its so good that you would ask for more. The perfect place to buy sweets and savories for any occasion.

It was really good..the snacks are really good. most of them are really good. But the Ambience is good. The people should be a little friendly, they don't show much interest in customers..but otherwise its good

Review only for Sweets and Chaat Items:
This is a nice place to buy quality Indian sweet dishes. Great prices too. The ghee sweets are always top notch. The sweets here have a nice fragrance. People watching their waist lines should avoid this place like plague! :)

I come here once a month or two to buy sweets - Paalcova, Bombay Kaaja (my fav), rasagulla, etc. I rarely buy other crunchy snacks or powders. You can close your eyes and buy here.

I used to frequent the Mandaveli Grand Sweets too (not marked on Zomato), damn it used to be crowded.

Here, it isn't that crowded. Tables are usually free. The chaat items are of good quality and quantity too. A plate of dahi puri feels like a meal by itself. The chaat items possibly come close to as good as Gangotri.

Nice ambience, the front portion of the shop is completely transparent. Ample parking space.

I have not been to the first floor which I think is the restaurant part. You can read other reviews for that portion. (Pun intended)

Note: The outlet is on a one way road, where traffic is heavy and fast. There have been accidents on this stretch. Drive safer than usual while reaching this place.

Good place to healthy lunch at affordable price. Mini meals, Meals are good. My experience for a month in taking lunch on all week days, I felt healthy. Value for money shop. Sweets are tasty. You can make payments by scanning QR code through Google Pay/ Bhim or any other wallet App. Friendly Staff. Only issue is washbasin is in outside the restaurant. Ample parking space. Great restaurant.

Excellent food quality. Traditional sweets and savories, along with modern designer sweets. A must visit for overseas residents who love South Indian preparations. Also a good place for a quick bite. Most locations I have been have good parking space.

Visted this place for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Wasn't crowded. AC was ON. Food was served quick. The pricing for breakfast was pretty nominal and taste was good. This place however lacks maintenance. There were cobwebs on the roof. The glass walls were dirty and stained. The wash on the outside was dirty and stained. I got a feel that the place was not doing enough business and the management was not interested to keep the place running.
