I went to Kari Virundhu last week after a couple of years and they have dramatically improved the taste and quality of food . I visited with a Japanese colleague who can not stop eating the fish curry , mutton balls and biriyani. I could feel more authentic sounds th TamilNadu taste and spice in majority of dishes I had .
I would definitely go manytimes and recommend all to try it once .

Chicken drum stick was crispy and yummy.
Egg dosa wasn't that good. Idly was soft and the chicken curry was tasty, could me made even more spicier. The cost was good for the taste.

I ordered hot and sour chicken soup and barbecue tandoori chicken for home delivery. Amazed by the packing of food and the quantity served. The soup is really tasty and spicy. Tandoori chicken is very crispy and tender and delicious. Today ordered the seetha samba mutton biriyani and the taste is unique 😋

It was a wonderful experience going to this place, it has friendly staffs, patient and calm atmosphere.
The best part is they can even provide us quality vegetarian food even when the shop known for non vegetarian food and when it comes to that they're simply amazing they have selected special menu everyday (as in whatever is readily available at that moment and that's how they'll call it), it's better to choose from that because it's really a good move or if you can wait for sometime, you can get your own.
overall this place is good and best suited for couples, gang and family.

A small place with normal clean ambiance . Tried Biriyani and ice cream. Biriyani was one of the best one what I ate in other restaurants . Ice cream was creamy and with full taste . Worth to try biriyani here as I was in bit hurry so couldnt went for other menu .
Love the food here!! You can get takeout, have the food delivered home or dine at the restaurant. A small place but near and clean with polite staff. The food is just exceptional. They have the best prawn dosa and chicken smashed parotta I’ve ever tasted. The chicken biryani cooked with seeraga samba rice is melt in your mouth good. Perfect amount of spice and packed with tons of flavour! The chicken curry accompanying it is just perfect. Food was cooked well. Really had no negatives. Must try this place. Will visit as many times as possible when I’m in the locality!

We ordered crab soup, chicken 777, egg briyani, crab lollipops, egg parotta, crab soup is very spicy and hot. Egg parotta is vet tasty. Price are reasonable and restaurant looks clean and neat. I will suggest to visit the restaurant if any plan to have dinner in arcot road.

The environment looks cool with the great interiors... Ventilation /air conditioning should be improved a little.. Expecting more number of branches in other areas too in chennai.
Great in taste. Served on time. Lovely ambience. Great staffs. Definitely worth the money. It is more of like chettinadu type of variety and taste is too good. We had naan and wheat paratta and gravy then thandoori chicken everything was super good. The restaurant can accommodate nearly 40 plus people at a time. Friendly staffs all the food being served hot. Really had a great time. Worth for repeated visit. Next time will try more dishes

Very less parking available, food items are okay. The interior decoration looks good but the sun blinds are very dirty.
They more often prefer cash than card.
We ordered chicken pepper fry, mutton kheema chappathi and mutton dosa. All items exceeded our expectations. Finished with sermana charu which was really tasty.
Certainly recommend forthose who look for other than run of the mill items.
