Excellent products....very tasty dishes
I love the biriyani from Hotel Pandia's. This is my favourite place to eat Biryani right from my childhood. Still the Pandia's Biryani tops my list of best Biryanis I've ever had!
Favorite food for all the North Chennai People starts from its very famous biriyani to early morning chops. Very crowded most of the time. Good eaters should definitely taste this food. A full party of south Indian food lovers if you visit.
Quantity:4.5/5
Quality:4.7/5
Pricing:4.5/5
Ambiance:3.5/5
Better place for different types of biryani but quantity and quality is good rate is high. Its good only when we eat it hot as soon it arrives
Very quick delivery nice handling .............. Smoothly handling with customer nd discount price is comfortable to order the food to eat people
Actually these guys are good in treating customers..
One thing you will be missing here - The spicy-ness
And worth for spending a bit more for good food.
Hi. Pandia's serving very good food items and service also good. But they can introduce Tea, Coffee also in outlets. Then it will fulfill like complete lunch and dinner. It's suggestion only. May see the feasibility of serving the same:-)
Heard a lot abt this place... Typical south Indian restaurant... Really really crowded on weekends... Esp Ppl stand in huge queues for getting taking away... There was a small ac room with a glass door inside.. So even families can visit... Oly 5 to 6 tables inside.. A bit conjusted... Service is very normal...
Coming to food... Heard biriyani is very very famous here.. But v settled for meals.. There were a list of spl meals.. Where u can select one of the meat options.. So that spl gravy will b given wit the normal meals.. V got one brain roast Meals.. So there Wil b non Veg meals wit all Gravys... Then a bowl of spl gravy with mutton brain pieces in it... Omg that gravy was super delicious with 4 pieces in it... Since it was limited v r allowed to share I guess... Then ordered one mutton sukka...it was bit of a gravy type.. But even that tasted really gud... So if u really wanna have typical south Indian meals and starters.. But really doesn't care abt the ambience.. U can visit this place and come out tummy full😁
Me and my bro visited here. We were totally confused which one to order. There are many varieties of items available. They are making food in village style which is one more plus. We ordered mutton Briyani, mutton chukka, brain fry. In Briyani we were supposed to search for rice bcz it is totally surrounded by pieces which we never found on any other places. Mutton chukka and brain fry didn't disappointed us like other places where raw smell will be coming. Only minus is ambiance. To taste good food then give a try here.
Taste and quantity was really good and fulfilling. Tried mutton biriyani meat was really cooked well and tasty.
Ordered vanjiram fry, thanthuri chicken, very good taste and dry fruits falooda is so good
Mutton biryani was awesome 💯. Best briyani I have ever eaten ,and they provides best service (staff friendly). (MB nd Fish finger must try)
It's a high class non-veg restaurant and they are very famous for their vankozhi(Turkey)Biryani. But I love their mutton biryani which is very different when compared with other mutton biryani available cross. Do give a try and it's recommended for non veg lovers.
Taste is good... Having Good Parking structure.... You can park both two wheeler and four wheeler here... One of the best Biryani in Chennai...
We had Mutton Biriyani, Crab lollipop and Egg dosa at Pandia’s. One of the most oldest and authentic Hotels in that locality. I went to this hotel many years ago. Then now I went with my wife. Really loved their service. Everything was served hot. Excellent biriyani and soft crab lollipop. Egg dosa was really good too. Loved both the gravies provided. Green kuruma and chops gravy were excellent. Overall, good dining experience with a bit pricey menu. But it’s ok to spend. Totally worth the taste 😊
I heard kothu Parotta, Nalli, pichi potta naatu kozhi would be good too.
Food is good here & Tasty.Apart from non veg ,Veg food also available which is tasty.
It is not clean
AC won't work in the AC service hall still they charge extra.
Service is average.
Could be maintained good
I wasn’t sure why I haven’t reviewed Pandia’s all this while, it’s a family favourite and my goto place for some delicious food that I absolutely worship.
I got introduced to pandias 15 years before, newly married and newly staying in my wifey’s place in north madras. I wake up on a Sunday morning to this delicious aroma of flavoured Biriyani rice and some scrumptious gravy, as they fondly call it as brown Kurma. There is a yellow Kurma that gets offered here as well.
If you haven’t spotted it yet, it was my first Breakfast Biriyani experience, that too a Turkey Biriyani, that became a favourite. Note, Turkey Biriyani is available only on Sundays & Wednesdays, breakfast onwards.
The Biriyani is not spicy, more flavourful, Pulao style rice with beautifully cooked generous portion of meat. Not your typical Biriyani to be tagged as Ambur, Dindukal or Kalyana Biriyani, this is a hard to explain league of its own.
Wifey did recommend her favourites from this place that she grew up savouring, a combo matched in heaven, Chili Prawns & Parota. It’s a beautiful thokku style chili prawns with massively large prawns with a thick Malabar style parota. I really really wish that you try this here.
I also like their boneless Chicken 65, Chicken Chops and Mutton Chops.
Overall a wonderfully rustic hidden gem, which has a more upmarket branch open in Vadapalani as well.
Very good taste mutton biryani
One of finest non veg restuarent in chennai, tamilnadu.
Special dishes are non veg meals which includes mutton kuzhampu, mean kuzhampu, chicken kuzhampu and nattu kozhi special.
The price of meals little bit high, Even though you can yummy a traditional tamilnadu non veg meals.
