Was buying fruits and veggies from the place which shares it's space with grand sweets and snacks. While I was busy buying veggies, the bored kiddos attention was captured by the display of sweets. He being a fan of kaju katli had already decided his choice. Got quarter kg of kaju katli and fruit halwa each. Kaju katli was surprisingly good. Not over sweet with bits of cashew here n there it tasted well. Fruit halwa was nothing to rave about. Looks like they also have tiffin like adai n kuzhi paniyaram. Have to check that out soon.

If you want to enjoy authentic variety of murukkus, thattai, other savories, podis, chutneys and sweets like jangiri, kunkum phoo (saffron)basundhi, variety of halwas - this is the place you must visit.

Decent chats and sweets. Don't expect great ambience or service. The breakfast stuff on the menu are average if not great. Sambar tastes good.
