Purchased Meringue and Cheese Straw from here. Meringue is more or less like our Thoothukudi Macaroons. Meringue is a sweet made out of Whipped White Egg and Sugar. Cheese Straw is a traditional food of England.
Both tasted good. Good value for Money.

Hot breads serves really decent spaghetti and pasta, though the temperature inside the joint is left to the mercy of the ambient. Plum cakes served was well up to the mark. Team handling the joint are worth my kudos
Ambience is too good. Just opposite to my office..so my every day hangout for snacks and breakfast. Panini is so good esp. the country veg. A variety of beverages has been added to the menu recently. Excellent food spot right in centre of busy mount road.

Located In a most unique of location...this particular Hot Breads is my favorite in terms of Ambiance...I usually stick to pastries , savories and sandwiches here....haven tried anything else....
Parking : I doubt it...its located on the junction of 2 busy roads...do not know whether parking is allowed or not...if allowed also it will be only for 2 wheelers...
Ambiance : As said-one of a kind...located in a junction of 2 busy roads...sitting inside a perfectly cooled and well maintained place with glass walls on both sides having a look at the busy city life pass by munching on your favorites....i personally like it very much...
Service : Good and friendly....time taken to prepare sandwiches was bit on a higher side..but i did not mind that as i was having a pleasant time....
Taste : Above average...typical hot breads taste i would say...nothing much to differ....
Value for Money : I would recommend this place just for the location and ambiance...i personally liked the ambiance a lot...

Nice ambience. Good place to enjoy a short snack. DIm lighting. More menu items. Exotic sandwiches, hot beverages, subs, etc. I tried sandwich and a sub. Both were good in terms of taste and content. Pricing - a little high. Fresh bakery items like cakes, breads, puffs. Silent in the midst of a busy road - Anna Salai (Mount Road).
My friend and I went here today for lunch. The place is really nice and cozy. Even though it's small in area the glass walls on three sides make it look spacious. You can actually see the city pass by as you sit and at a table and have your food.
The food is pretty good. We ordered a chicken quiche, a veg pasta and a chocolate doughnut. They mixed up our food at first (we ordered Spaghetti Veg, they made Penne Chicken and then ended up serving Penne Veg ultimately). I expected the chocolate doughnut to be chocolatey but it had a layer of glazed sugar which made it too sweet for chocolate, but maybe some people might like it. The chicken quiche was pretty good except for a little too much pepper.
