Great outlet,choices and fresh edibles to consume along with packaged food items . Pastries are fresh and Delicious as ever . Stuffed patties can improve on filling other wise great to go outlet and have a bite
This has always been my go to bakery since childhood. The best items here are the pista cake and the Japanese cake. This time i tried the butterscotch cake . It was excellent. Very creamy and crunchy layers.
Had the apple cake(₹13) , donut(₹24) and puff(₹17) to go with a few other savouries....true value for money...recommended for snack times...really good for students especially.
This is one of the cleanest outlet of Mcrennett I know of. Mcrennett outlets have been there for so long , that it used to be a go to place for people from all walks, however the quality has diminished over the years 😏
But no one can possibly go wrong with a tea cake and Mcrennett has always been my go to place to buy cakes when I'm on a low budget or tea cakes or Christmas cakes 🎂☕️🍞 It's very cheap and nicely baked 😍 and is total value for money 💰

There is no small bakery which easily seen in this area so for a small puff or snack this is needed.

Cheap and best... cakes puffs and every other bakery stuff at very nominal rates and gud quality too... just dat dey can have better staffs who could be a bit more professional... also plz give plates wen someone is eating something instead of handing stuffs in a tissue paper...

A good snack and mini grocery store . They are famous for their veg and non veg puffs. A variety of cakes are also sold here. They are a hit Among school children. This place also has a variety of drinks in Amul (cold coffee etc,). Good place to munch a few bites✌️👍🏻
Good Bakery items and freshly available
I have known McRennett for more than 30 years. Their cakes and bread are very popular. Also their biscuits, puffs and many more items. Reasonable price and they can be found at many places in Chennai. I have been to their shops in Royapuram, Highcourt, Mountroad, Mandaveli, Gopalpuram, Adyar and many more
Courteous staff, good variety of baked items, coconut bun, plum cake, puffs, rusks etc., are off good qty n taste. Every day prodn makes the shop fresh
Bought cakes for hristmas give aways the price were fixed some discount could have been given for the festivities
I absolutely adore Mcrennett buttercream pastries and their walnut cake. It's a family favorite!
This one is open, and lets you shop comfortably as long as you have a mask on. They even have phonepe, Gpay and Paytm. So it's pretty convenient.

There are no pista piece cakes they are saying till New Year it will be like that only I was disappointed
Neatly maintained shop. One difficulty here is, the stock gets sold out very quickly due the existence of schools. Quality of the products is really good
They have many varieties of snacks apart from puffs and cakes. You have place to sit and have. Very famous for cakes. One of the oldest bakery and busy one.
Always love their Jam bun ( 22rs) , got eff puff ( 29/- rs ) and also chocolate cake ( 25/- rs)
