I came to Dharamakot for a month from Australia and this is my favourite place to eat. It has vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. The food is hygienically prepared and each meal is well presented and tasty. I would highly recommend eating here if you are seeking nutritious dietary friendly options.
I spent 2 months in Dharamkot and this was by far my favourite place to eat. If you’re vegan it’s a godsend, the food is super clean and delicious. Some of my go-to’s were the vegan TSM omelette, malai kofta and green shake. If you’re after peace and tranquility with stunning views of the mountains, this is the place. Akash and his team are always smiling and kind, and willing to accommodate if you need any dishes altered for health reasons. Felt like a nurturing home-cooked meal every time I came here, thank you.
This gem of a place is a must visit when you’re in Dharamkot! It’s a vegetarian place with plenty of vegan options.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The manager/service captain is friendly and very aware of what vegan food is.
We had a very nice conversation about the restaurant business and family culture in a team, on my second visit. (I think his name is Akash, but I’m not able to recall correctly because it’s been a few weeks since my visit).
The food is prepared fresh on order, so it’s customisable. And all the food has a warming, home made feel to it.
Between my two visits to Joy Food, I got to try the Vegan Chia Porridge, Indian Sandwich, Brown Rice Khichdi. All delicious!
