Food was delivered at a quick speed. But it needs to be cooked more. We ordered alfaham and chicken biryani.Alfaham was good but chicken biryani was just average .
It was my first visit on this Monday .me and my friend ordered chicken Biryani.perfectly cooked.reasonable price and reasonable quantity. I love that beetroot pickle too..
I first visited Malabar Biryani house nearly 10 years back. A decade later, the quality of the biryani served up by this small outlet remains the same. There are maybe 6 or 7 tables and the place is really tiny. True to its name, the place offers just biryanis, chicken and mutton I can offer comments on and egg and veg which I’ve never bothered eating.
Leave ambience and other fine dine elements off the table when you think of visiting this place. But the biryani is excellent and in keeping with its Malabar roots, the flavours are mild yet lip smacking. The chicken version costs 120 rupees and comes along with raita, pickle, pappad and sulaimani. Unlike several other biryani places in town, Malabar house biryani along with 2 average sized chicken pieces and an egg. The biryani is a bit on the greasy side but good enough to get you back in there for more.
My favourite place for Biriyani.I must say the real Malabar Biriyani and it's yumm and worthy. The taste has been the same as ever.Mutton Biriyani is only available at noon.the add ons they give with the biriyani makes us feel happy and special.Must try out guys
I was in my way back to Chennai from Vagamon and took parcel of chicken and mutton Biriyani from this small place. The food was awesome and wondered why I didn’t order extra packet .this is pure Kerala style biriyani and wondering why the reviews are poor for this hotel.Go for this hotel after a warm walk on marine drive
Small place with good biryani ....and good service ..nthing extraordinary ..decently priced also they serve a good sulaimani after food .......
The best biriyani, the food is awesome and must try. The service is really good and even home delivery is fast. The rare is comparatively fine.

Had their Chicken Biryani for lunch, the biriyani was well and good... not so out of the world but it was good... the pricing is good - 110rs for a Chicken Biriyani + Lime Tea ... but the place is crowded and the no.of seats are low... anyways a good place for biriyani with a reasonable price...
Worth a try
If looking for a malabari type biriyani.
Though it is a small outlet and lacks in ambiance, as in whole it's satisfactory with good service and affordable cost.
And The lime tea dey serve towards the end steals the show.
A small place that offers a good biriyani and a free suleimani at the end. Was welcomed and served with a smile. The place is crowded at lunchtime and is good for take aways.
But for the space constraint this place is just right to taste some good Malabar biryani.
Extremely tight space but very well sought after for its deliciously simple recipes.
Only biryanis of chicken, mutton and beef available. For the vegetarian in you that too is available.
Mild but gently aromatic preparations warmly serviced with a smile make the experience forget that you had been squeezed into that tight corner!!!!
Even the pricing is quite reasonable for the portion sizes.
I never thought their food as good as 20 years ago, I hope it is the same management. I had their biriyani 20 years ago when I was studying at 10 std, those days it was an unreachable place , damn famous and we didn't have much money to have it. Years passed by , new outlets came more of a big chains and took over the business but unexpectedly I had a chance to go there after all these years , and I was really surprised they still serve the same biriyani I had 20 years ago. It was really tasty . Everyone must try it.
Remember it is a small place , road side parking, you may get parking may not, but it's still worth trying for once or twice, if you have time .
One of the best biriyani available in ernakulam. I think this is the only restaurant in mg road offering sulaimani along with biriyani. All biriyani's are good however i would recommend having chicken biriyani from there. The biriyani is prepared in malabar style. The restaurant has small seating capacity and mostly it is crowded during 1.30 to 2.00 pm. The only con which i personally felt with the restaurant is the ambience. However the taste and quality of the biriyani as well as the service of the staffs will compensate for the average ambience provided by the restaurant. I am a regular customer at the restaurant since 2018. Since parking facility is not sufficient for four wheelers, you can go there by two wheeler.
Biriyani costs 150. Average taste. Bit congested and hard to find parking
A very small biriyani outlet opposite to Saritha theatre Ernakulam. Tasty biriyani at reasonable rate. There is a special sulaimani served with each biriyani. It's also very tasty. Only few seats are there in the restaurant, so it is little bit congested is inside. But the service is good.
Just okay that much.. I visited here to have food only because of the rating mentioned here.. But i felt it as a just okay one.. Not deserving much glorifying from the normal.. Okay to have a biriyani.. That's much
Food taste good.. Small Dine in space.
Lime tea is given free with every plate of Biriyani..
Decent Mutton biriyani. Great Black tea to go along with it. Light flavoured kaima biriyani. Not a large quantity of rice but there were sufficient mutton pieces and the pricing is very reasonable. Mutton biryani had an egg in it too. So I found it very filling. Thought they should improve the quality of rice used a bit more. Thought Rs. 180 for mutton biriyani was pretty reasonable. Gpay is there. But the owner prefers cash payment.
Biriyani is good as it's not having too much masala or essences.
Good for stomach.
For years I have been a regular customer, biriyani is nice.
