Great taste. Good service. Polite staff. One of the best places I have eaten in MG Marg. The beef momo was simply too good at such a reasonable price. I had beef momo and veg fried rice at ₹290. The complementary achar was tasty. Would I recommend? Absolutely yes !

One of the best bar, pork ribs & beef chill is superb. Especially for South Indian can match their tastes in non-veg. Very good service

We had a lovely experience in the Orthodox restaurant. The ambience was good and location is great. Located at the starting of M G Marg and next to Dragon Oak another nice restaurant on the stretch. Orthodox Restaurant is open post COVID restrictions. Please check before you go to any place as many restaurants and places of tourist interest are still closed. We had some Bacardi and breeders and the cost was quite reasonable for alcohol. The pork ribs was roast was just awesome if you like pork. Their chicken dry also was too good. Masala papad is made differently over here. The service is good and staff are great. A very cozy place and makes you feel nice and comfy in the cold weather. Service too is pretty fast. Staircase leads to the restaurant on the first floor and there is no traffic permitted on M G Marg and people commute on taxi’s when they come here as parking is the biggest challenge anywhere in Gangtok. Please don’t miss this place when you visit Gangtok. Go for it and I am sure you will not be let down. Keep clean and stay green and keep Gangtok hygiene 🙏

Been there twice and trust me it was the best decision we ever made. We went to many restaurants but among all orthodox was the best. Pocket friendly restaurant with amazing food and decent ambience I would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to visit Gangtok, Sikkim and they want to try pork/beef.

One of the oldest in the business. This place is always packed. Hence the food and the non veg items served here is always fresh. Don't expect a very luxurious treatment but trust me when I say that they have the best momos and non veg chilis in town.
