A very sophisticated place with soothing music and brilliant service. The food was amazing. Though the portion size was a bit small but the taste made up for it.
We ordered spring rolls, dumplings, yellow curry soups and a dessert.
It was our friends b'day and the staff brought a small cake too to celebrate.
We had a small incident where we asked the waiter to get us 2 soups divided in 5 portions, but he noted down 5 full portions. When the food arrived, we were surprised to see 5 large bowls. We confirmed with a lady if this is 2 portions by 5. She said yes so we started eating. Later on, the waiter came and confirmed that he had brought 5 full soups. We were shocked and were starting to freak out when the manager stepped in and asked us not to worry and that he'll take care. We finished the bowls but the manager charged us for only 2. Very very understanding and professional behaviour. Was really impressed by the staff.

Amazing Thai food! Sticky rice with Mix vegetable in yellow curry is a must try. So are crystal dimsums! Awesome taste! Great presentation. Fantastic service & cordial staff. A must visit place in Gurgaon.

I have frequented this place for more than 9 years now. Appetizers are awesome, specially dumplings are to die for. Keep it up.
Excellent food - we orders the assorted dimsums (shrimp, chicken and lamb), the calamari and chicken starter and chicken noodles.. suffice to say that all the meat was very well cooked and very flavourful too.. service was pretty good as well.. we were satisfied patrons!
The food over here has always been beyond phenomenal. The restaurant has earned many accolades in food and while the majority of the crowd doesn't attract to this restaurant anymore and it's is always fairly empty , the crowd is still classy. The menu has some very delicious dishes and while they may be on the more expensive side (600 INR++ per dish), it is worth it. In particular, j would recommend trying their bowls and their prawns. We have been eating them for years and they never get old ! Best Chinese restaurant in town hands down.

Great ambiance, very interesting architecture matching the name. Provides a very soothing dining experience. I found the staff very courteous, attentive with prompt service. Serving quality Chinese food. Overall a suitable place for dining out with family or friends.
Consistent food quality ever since they opened dor business is very impressive. It is helped in part by nearly consistent menu over the years. I am NOT complaining about menu :-)
With an open kitchen, good menu, some items are special, It is different from most other chinese food outlets.Go For It - it is worth a visit.
Probably the best SE Asian cuisine in Gurgaon. Never been disappointed with anything we have ordered ever. Backed with extremely efficient and pleasant service, The Monk has been our favorite family dining spot for years.
The menu hasn't been updated since ages. While this lends a degree of comfort to regulars who know what to order and what to expect, a few additions now & then wouldn't hurt.
Have been there many a times since we've been a fan of the oriental/teppanyaki cuisine. The choice is limited and that's one of the best things of the place. The restaurant does not want to be a master of all traits. Love the food and the ambiance.
