Paul is a French Chain offering delicious breads, desserts and Pizzas all across Gurugram. It was interesting for me to know that it's been in business since 1889 and recently only they started these restaurants here in India. To start from the very start, I have seen a few pictures of the restaurant.. I also saw it in the stories of one of my contacts and I was curious to try it out. It was in the back of my mind but I wasn't actively looking for it. Recently we went to Ambience and I saw it right there at the entrance and I knew I had to try it. We went there for lunch and this is all we had- *Fettuccine in Alfredo Sauce- This creamy, cheesy pasta has my heart. It was perfectly cooked and just melts in the mouth. *Cold Coffee- The classic cold coffee which actually was like everywhere else. *Iced Mocha- This was good, the taste of the coffee was prominent and to my liking. *Tiramisu- I have been wanting to try Tiramisu since forever and when I saw it on the menu, I knew I had to give it a try. It's clearly mentioned on the menu that it has alcohol in it. Although I was sceptical about it because I don't like the taste of alcohol but hey, it was a surprise. Yes, you tatse the bitterness of alcohol but the other layes of the Tiramisu help balance it and all the elements compliment each other. It was just perfect. * Ambience- Fair warning, it is a closed space which is always crowded.. We went there on a Thursday afternoon and we had toh wait for 20 minutes for a table. But that's not the issue, the problem is the close sitting area. Everybody is so close to each other that you can easily eavesdrop on the other table. I have so much of information about this Mansi girl who has the topic of conversation on the table next to mine.. So if you are not a fan of closed sitting ares, think before going. But if you are like me who loves food way too much, thoda sa bear kr lena.
