Just visited Gam's on the way back from Shillong to Guwahati airport.
Location is great as it is on the way so great stop for those travelling :)
Place is huge and spacious, fast and friendly service with great food and prices making it family friendly place where kids can run around :).
We shared simple meal as we were fed up with food at this point haha - yellow daal, rice, green veggies, chicken khorika (ok taste), kheer.
Only negative is dirty bathrooms with no toilet paper :( - please make more efforts to maintain better hygiene levels.
If you want to try authentic Assamese cusine.
This is the place to visit.

Whole restaurant is made from bamboo including 66% of the rooftop.
They have parking space and all facilities so dont worry about being made of bamboos.

Hakka noodles - well prepared and tasty
Crispy chilli baby corn - real crispy and tasty
Veg. American choupsey - very good, pineapples were balancing the taste, not much spicy.
Tea - it was machine tea(CCD) so dont expect much, if you like strong tea then you have to mention or explain clearly to staff.
Veg. Manchurian - was tasty
Service : For good food sometimes wait is tasty.
We had to wait for half an hour but food was satisfactory so no regrets.

Good Assamese food . I tried veg asamees thali very much mild in masala ,good tatse of daal & nicy cooked rice.
Must visit restaurant for authentic asamee food .

Pure ethnic kitchen.loved the thalis.they have a variety of items in the menu.they provide lot of assamese dish.those who are non assamese they can go there n explore the ethnic food of our assam n yes the taste of the food is also very very good.
Although the prices are a bit higher but the food it really good. The ambience and the staff is just a cherry on the top. Their smoked pork and smoked chicken are my personal favourite.
Serving the most Exquisite assamese cuisine. Traditional dishes are love. Well organized ambience and excellent service. Definitely give a visit with your family and enjoy an amazing meal with the assamese delicacy. Happy eating! :)
This place is very good in serving good assamese dishes, coz it got good variety. The taste is homely, ambience is also typically restaurant look and feel (lighting is very low I felt). Will recommend to go for thali for the first timer, coz of the variety.

Owkay so coming straight to its food, if you are a typical assamese person who like to have vat and a wholesome of assamese dish than guys this is the place . You can never complain about the food its delicious . Here you can order thali here which cost like 400 to 500 ,and it will make you tummy and heart full. But yeah you may need to wait a bit until the food is served, a lot of customers happened to be there and hence they fail to manage . Overall its really good you must try. Whenever i crave of rich assamese dishes ,i jump up to this place😋🤩
