Please to visit I often visit steaming mug for refreshments and to have tasty food.last time I ordered this bbq wings and American corn fry with just left me speechless with their mesmerising taste . I think everyone of us should once tried the bbq wings. The disappointing part was the next time I visited there they could not serve us the bbq wings.
they were also going on with some construction in their sitting area but I feel their previous sitting area was the best part of the best part Cafe. I think they should at least maintain some system of the ground sitting in their Cafe as usual. Otherwise it will always have my heart.
I had the chicken steak out here and I had to admit that it tastes really good...it has open air ambience and a smoking zone too the only thing they need to improve is there latte and cappuccino

Food - the pasta, creamy macaroni, is just awesome. 4.5/5. Tried cappuccino, it was okay (3/5). Classic cheeseburger was also okay (3.5/5). There's more room for improvement.

Steaming mug, provided me with customer service which no one can offer.
On new year eve, they kept restaurant open only for me...ya u read it correctly ... only for a single customer. As I had early morning flight I talked with steaming mug owner and he infact was saying, we will b happy to serve u on new year eve. Its our privilege that u want to spend new year eve at our place even though officially they were closing at 11pm.
Now comes food. I am Not from guwahati and was searching for best pizza in guwahati and then I saw pic of pizza at steaming mug and was excited to eat it and as had expected. Pizza was awesome. It was so good that I went twice in my trip to eat just pizza.
My friend also recommended sizzler which are also great
Now comes ambience, reason I wanted to spend new year eve at steaming mug was coz their ambience is very nice and perfect.
This review would be useless if I don't mention support staff and owner of steaming mugs. They all are awesome and I want to thank them for making my new year eve so wonderful.
Nice gesture of keeping joint open only for one person. I can never forget it .

We were already kinda full after our lunch and just went for some evening snack. So we just ordered a plate of ๐ฟ๐ง๐ช๐ข๐จ ๐ค๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ which some people call it as Chicken Lollipops and a plate of ๐ผ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐๐๐ฃ ๐พ๐ง๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ ๐ฝ๐๐๐ฎ ๐พ๐ค๐ง๐ฃ with a glass of ๐ฝ๐ก๐ช๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ฃ from their menu.. to be frank, the food was okay-ish and on a pricier note..
The drums of heaven tasted well but I have had better before.. paying 250 rupees for 6 pieces of the lollipops is kinda not worth.. the baby corns were not good enough.. but the glass of blue lagoon tasted awesome.. perfect balance..

The ambience stole the show.. as I mentioned before its a cute little cafe in the city, I stick to my word.. it has quite a cozy environment and you feel relaxed altogether.. the staff was very polite..

Well talking about the interiors, it's really pretty! A good place to hangout! On the other hand, I didn't find the food that amazing,I mean it was okay but wasn't great. The cheese on top of the fries tasted really bad,it wasn't cheese at all. However I liked the drumsticks and the pizza.
One of my favourite cafe in town. The place is a delight. You can visit this place at any time of day. The ambience is warm and lively and the food is nice. The mocktails are nice, the pizzas and the various starters are nice. They just just launched a few items for the breakfast and thatโs nice. Nice good and filling. This place is nice to hang out with friends to spend some good quality time.

Finally visited this place today๐๐ food is very tasty and reasonable rates. So it's a plus point fpr us the students community. Service is also very good.
The interior and the ambiance is nice. The food is however okayish. I feel the lighting is a little inadequate. The food as compared to price and quantity is great. The service is however not so good. It took little long to serve our food. Out of whatever I ate I'll recommend CCBC and Farmhouse Pizza. Also if you're a student there is 15% off offer.
The Steaming Mug, located at Ambari, has a great ambience, is spacious and the menu is a steal deal. Their food and service is great. Had a lovely time spending a summer afternoon at this cafe.
What I love about this place is their extensive menu options. The ambience and sitting space is well maintained. But I would still give it a 4 star because the food is not worth the price. The crunchy chocolate frappe was not crunchy, the barbeque chicken is a bit burnt and the chicken pizza is a bit tangy. But their Alfredo chicken pasta is a must have. It's perfect. Shall definitely visit next time.

The newest entrant to the cafe culture of guwahati. This place has amazing food, the food is really tasty. Every bit of the menu is worth tasting. The ambience is pretty. Has a smoking zone too. Overall amazingly created. Give it a try.
It is a good small cafe. I like the ambiance. As cafes are famous for their breakfast item in the menu, we have ordered two breakfast, English Breakfast and The steaming mug breakfast. The later was better than the former one actually. In fact I would advice to not order the English Breakfast at all.
Beautiful decor and ambience makes it an awesome place to visit and hangout. The staff are friendly but one of the waiters behaviour was not good. For ordering food, you have to scan QR code with your smartphone and the menu appears on your phone and enter the pin and all so if they not added your pin then you have to wait. Preparing food takes time but quality and taste is good. Overall it was a good experience. Do visit at least once.

I have visited here for almost 2 or 3 times with my friends. And the ambience is really nice and the air conditioning makes it a lot more comfortable to spend some quality time with your loved ones. The quality of the food is good as well. Some food are a bit expensive in comparison to the quantity of food being served. Other than that everything is good to go.
