We had a mini thali, fish curry and crab fry here. All the dishes were very good. What stood out the most is the wonderful service. Kamesh and another person served us with great attention. The thali tasted like South Indian home made meal. The decor and the interiors are very aesthetically done. It's a great place for anyone to taste authentic South Indian meals. They covered the food from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamilnadu.
A meal at Dakshin is, without fail, a wonderful experience. The food is always perfectly delicious, and it is only bettered by the superlative service offered by all at the restaurant. Kamesh and Uday were among those who took care of our party last night, but everyone who attended to our table was excellent. We felt like we were being hosted by the staff. In the photos, you’ll see our order included two non-veg thalis and one meen mohile with aapam. The meen mohile was made to order at zero-spice level, and it was still absolutely scrumptious.
One of the best 5 star hotels in Hyderabad. The ambience was very good. The atmosphere is serene and it was pretty peaceful. Most of the items in the menu were good.
Although, I felt the appam and biryani were not that good. Overall a good restaurant to visit for luxury south Indian dining experience.
I just visited the restaurant today and couldn't resist on writing the review as i step out after an amazing culinary experience.
We were in a search of a authentic south Indian cuisine and someone recommended us Dakshin. We thoroughly loved the entire experience right from the food to the hospitality. Anthony and Vivek were so warm and gracious in their hospitality that we ended up hogging much more than we wanted to :) Right from the starters to the dessert, each dish was mouth watering and so fresh. The ambience compounded our south feel and added to the delightful experience. The Thali was to die for and undoubtedly the best nonveg food in Hyderabad.
Superb restaurant! I have always been a big fan of Dakshin and have visited the deli outlet many times. The Hyderabad outlet is the ahead of it. The chef and Restaurant Manager truly went out of their way to help us. The food, condiments and service are par excellence.

It's was a wonderful experience with southern flavours and we order a non-veg thali for 3 of us, they are so delicious specially fish meen varuval was beyond the taste level and service is very good and worthy
