Platao has amazing vibrant ambience , very well spacious and ventilated space, amazing italian buffet. The menu is very well designed to ensure all the customers can enjoy all the courses , very well balanced portion size and amazing speard in all the sections. loved the food and service.
#FoodShaukeen #Palato #Italian #Continental #Buffet #Tempting #AbsoluteVFM
If you ask me when is the last time I have enjoyed food in a buffet, that too Italian/Continental? I would say "Don't remember such thing".
Palato, located in the prime area Hitech City and is in the heart of IT Companies Raheja Mindspace, beside Westin; This place comes from the same family of our #trustworthy Ci gusta Hyderabad Hitech City and both kitchens are looked over by the same Chef. Palato serves Italian/Continental following in the footsteps of #CiGusta and they have a lunch buffet too :)
Well, it's not just any buffet. I entered the place with zero expectations as it was a buffet and given that it is priced at about 530 with many exotic dishes on the buffet menu, I had a feel that the quality might be compromised. But once I started digging in, quality and taste in every bite made me joyous. The quality you get in ala carte is also what you get in buffet, this is how it is supposed to be and not many places follow this (including star properties).
I dont indulge much in soup in general, but wanted to give a try anyway and I chose potato and leek with chicken soup from their spread. One of the very few soups that I fell in love with.
Mac and Besil Pesto with mayo from salads made me order basil pesto pasta in mains. Both were outstanding.
They have about 3 veg and 3 non veg starters. All starters are not on buffet and come directly from their kitchen. Each one from the lot tasted perfect. Although, my favs were corn hushpuppies and herb chicken.
From the Mains-
pizza and pasta are made on order and you have choice of 1 veg and non veg in pizza. While Margherita with thincrust base was good, pesto chicken pizza was dominated by base tomato flavor, this would have been much better had there been a pesto in the pizza base sauce or if there is a balance of flavors.
Spinach and Corn Cannelloni - Cannelloni for people who aren't aware is a big pasta/lasagne sheets which are cooked, filled with stuffing and rolled into a near-to-cylindrical shape. This was very tasty.
aubergine (eggplant) ratatouille is a vegetable stew that can be eaten as a whole dish itself or a side dish. Its low in calories and is a good source of nutrients. I did enjoy this dish with their spanish rice.
Chicken lasagne which consists layered lasagna sheets along with cheese and other stuffing (in this case, chicken) did come out very well, even when the dish was on buffet spread.
Mash and Vegetables, chicken breast were other dishes on buffet which were equally good.
Desserts-
One fav part of mine in my meal and when its Italian/Continental, its going to be more interesting. Warm brownies were on offer and is a treat to brownie lovers - thick and gooey, you will finish this in no time even when its topped with their gelatos.
Creme Caramel - This is one dessert that is seen in many of the buffets and is 'THAT ONE DISH' I always tried to avoid as it never tasted good. But, given my increase in expectations from my previous dishes, I was tempted to try this; Oh, boy - this came out very very good. Loved it so much that I had it repeated 3 times :)
And there was salted caramel, Mango Mousse and couple of other desserts which were fighting with each other to win "The best dessert of the day" ;) Each and every one of them were great in quality and taste and you would not stop appreciating them till you reach the door :)
If you appreciate Italian/Continental food and looking for a delicious spread at an aggresive price (around 520/- for lunch buffet), this is the place for you :) Don't delay anymore! Their ala carte is also economical and average meal for 2 should cost you anywhere anywhere between 1000-1200.
What a lunch.. my personal kudos to the chefs for preparing such a spread.. I think every dish was carefully crafted to excellence with full of flavors. I must mention the desserts, specially the mango mousse and the caramel cake they were outstanding. I cannot end this review without mentioning about the soup (chicken mulligatawny). For me... It actually stole the show. Great job people.. 👍 to the complete Palato team.
Place is good. Service was fast. Food was also good. But too much costly for the quantity they have provided.
Ambience : Decent
Service : Decent
Staff behaviour : Decent
Soup : chicken mulligatawny is very good .. I liked it
Salads : decent
Veg Starters taste and varieties : average wrt non-veg ( paneer / potato) - veg thin crust pizza is very good
Non-veg starters and taste: chicken wings , sea food samosa are very good .. others are decent
Main course : no biryani but labanese chicken rice and other chicken Khemka ... Thai chicken curry tasted very well .. in main course the southern flavours you will only find in rice and ullavacharu ( obviously)
Desserts : very good must try all the items like mango moose, fudge Browne pineapple panda cotta caramel cake and two ice creams ( pista and apple pie)
Overall experience : Value for money .. good food
Palato : Place with a spread of Global fusion cuisine with an Indian touch.
Beautiful interiors with really humble staffs. The thing which I liked a lot about their staffs is that, they were really very quick. Who wants to wait, at restaurant for the food? Obviously no one and it obviously turns you off, so this place is just excellent in this case.
Coming to the food, it was a buffet spread, where starters were served at the table and the main course and desserts were self served.
For starters, they had 6 veg items and 6 non veg items.
Veg:
Onion Rings- These were super crispy and really delicious.
Desi Pastry- This was really yummy, pastry which somewhat resembled samosa in terms of stuffing.
Cottage Cheese Tarts- This was the star among all the food I had that day, a must try one. I loved it absolutely. It has super crunchy shell with extremely soft cottage cheese. As soon as soon the tart inside your mouth and chew it, your pallets will burst with texture and taste of this.
Sweet & Spicy Cottage Cheese- This was also quite delicious.
Veg Dim Sums- I found it kind of Ok ok, not that great.
Non veg:
Peri Peri Chicken- So delicious it was.
Mexican Chicken Chilli- this also tasted quite good.
Honey Chilli Wings- Get ready to get your hands messy to enjoy this delicious wings
Fish Tempura- This was also quite good in taste
Prawn Fritters- Mini prawns which just tasted really delicious.
Chicken Dim Sums- I liked this one, it was quite delicious
*Pizzas:*
Garden Veg- It was so delicious, words are falling s**t for it. Thin crust pizza which a good amount of fresh veggie topping and sun dried tomatoes.
Chicken Shawarma- This was also related very delicious. It’s really difficult to say, which one was the best out of these 2.
In main course we had 9 dishes including both veg and non veg. There were 2 variations of rice and I loved both of them equally. Curried mexican rice and lebanese inspired rice chicken both were equally delicious. Apart from that, I liked mac and cheese, Thai Red curry chicken and chicken meat balls.
Coming to the desserts, there were 8 varieties, out of which my favourites are baked yogurt and mango mousse.
There were 2 gelatos too, apple pie and mixed berry. Both were good, but apple pie really stood out of both. Even after stuffing myself with so much food, I managed to eat 2 scoops of apple pie gelato.
Overall, it was a very good experience for me.
Palato was packed to the brim, during both of my visits. We had to accommodate at a smaller table, despite having reservations. The second time around, the experience was quite good. I love the pizza at Palato. Starters and desert-very good. There is definitely scope for improvement, for the main course. Staff is very courteous.
I will start slowly writing about it as I delve in more. This was a off-the-radar place which never struck my attention in the beginning, me being a foodie and reviewer. While looking out for best buffet places, this location popped up.
A place simply amazing, fascinating you with all its grilling and smoky starters, mouth-watering main courses and melting desserts.!!!
Food: 5/5
We went on a buffet option.
Soups: It had 2 types of soups – one veg and one non-veg soup.
Salads: They had 15 types of salads – I could not eve touch half of them, but whatever I could eat was really nice and those are really healthy.
Starters: There were 6 veg and 6 non-veg starters which were immensely good. Especially the peri-peri chicken, hot wings, fish tempura and dim-sums.
Breads: The had 6 types of breads and 2 types of dips originating from different parts of Europe.
They also serve chicken pita pocket, veg and chicken thin crust pizza which were again lovely I taste.
Main Course: Their main course involved – 2 types of rice, 2 types of noodles/ similar sort, 3 veg and 3 non-veg sides along with mac & cheese.
Desserts: They had 3 assorted pastries (all of them being stunningly soft, perfect in sweet ratio, smooth and ludicrous), baked yogurt blueberry (first time I had something like this. It had blueberry mushes on top of baked yogurt. I do not have enough words to explain how heavenly it was – smooth, creamy, not oily, culpable texture of fruit-paste and yogurt), mango mousse, brownie and ice-cream.
Ambiance: 4/5
The place looked really sweet and simple. They have enough space for 50-60 people at a time. The tables were arranged with one set of sofa and one set of wooden bench. They provided sanitizer bottles and all cutleries in the table itself. There was a dim music going on which suited the mood rightly. All their walls have loads of photo frames and printed canvas with eye-catching and trendy quotes.
Service: 4/5
Service was also good, only problem being their urge of asking and coming back within 5 mins. Entire time, they were hurrying too much because their buffet is only open from 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM. They were initially trying to make us eat the starters almost in no time. We specifically told them to give us some time. But even after closing the service, they provided two big bowls of ice cream as we could not grab it within time.
Once and all, it is a must go for all buffet-lovers. Not only my taste buds bud my heart also bid them with a relaxed and content smile.!
We went for a Sunday brunch to try the Palato’s buffet. Previously this place was called Blanc Glace and it was more a cafe type and we had nice experience there. The nice experience was repeated with Palato.
The place is not spectacular in design and decors but the ambiance is nice. Good music and the fact that is was really clean made us feel good.
Service is professional, very good staff. Full marks here. Some 5 star restaurants should learn from this guys.
The buffet spread was satisfactory. Not the largest we’ve seen but definitely good enough. The starters are served at the table hot and fresh. And they serve you an array of sortiments, from chicken keema to tempura fish and pizza. Main course had less options but the red thai curry was quite good. The desserts side and bakery (including breads) was the best part. Cheesecake and Linzer cake tasted amazing.
We had cafe latte as well and it was one of the best in the city.
I definitely recommend this place to be checked out!
The restaurant is just 5 minutes walk from my office, easy to spot, right next to Westin! Courteous stuff, affordable price and decent interior design..
Now I literally had to recollect all the items I had as each and every dishes were delicious. Few were really unique.
Lasagna Veg, Palak Paneer Casserole, Curried Mexican Rice were good. One of the best Mac & Cheese Noodles I had here. After ages I loved a rice dish like **Lebanese Inspired Rice Chicken** It's must try.
Thai Red Curry was good along with Desi Pastry.
Cottage Cheese Tarts is something that you don't wanna miss. In non veg, I loved Peri Peri Chicken
And Mexican Chicken Chilli. Honey Chilli Wings and Fish Tempura was equally splendid.
The best part about this restaurant is *Desserts:*
1.Butter Cake
2.Red Velvet Slice
3.Baked Yogurt
4.Rose Mahalabia
5.Mango Mousse
Specially mango mousse and baked yogurt were the best I have ever had...
Love you team PALATO.. 💕
We were here for a get-together and we had some amazing food over here... This place is quite peaceful and had lots of varities to have... There was live music along with live screening...Detailed review coming soon....

I had heard a lot about this place and finally visit it for dinner buffet.
The place is not that huge, but can accommodate 50 people at a time. Its good for office lunches and dinner. Specially the place is situated inside mindspace, which is its plus point.
The food is a spread of Global Fusion Cuisine with an Indian touch. It is priced at Rs. 699 and is available for both Lunch and Dinner. The menu includes Soup of veg and non veg,
Potato and Leek (non veg)
Tomato Basil Soup (veg)
Among Veg Starters had
Onion Rings,these were decent
Desi Pastry, could be improved a bit
Cottage Cheese Tarts, the best among the veg starters, tasted heavenly
Crispy Baby Potatoes,
Sweet & Spicy Cottage Cheese and
Veg Dim Sums
Among the Non-Veg Starters had
Peri Peri Chicken, this is the best starter here, trust me, you would want it to be repeated.
Mexican Chicken Chilli was decent.
Honey Chilli Wings are good too.
Fish Tempura is Okaish, could have been a little better.
Prawn Fritters are also decent with crunchy texture.
Chicken Dim Sums are good.
Palato serves really good Pizzas, can say it is their one of the speciality.
Garden Veg & Chicken Shawarma pizza are there for the buffet.
Their Main Course is humungous, consisting of the following;
Ulavacharu Veg Curry
Lasagna Veg
Palak Paneer Casserole
Curried Mexican Rice
Mac & Cheese
Noodles Maggi Masala
Lebanese Inspired Rice Chicken
Thai Red Curry Chicken
Chicken Meatballs
These items on the main course are infused with indian touch. I specially liked the thai red curry and the lebanese inspired chicken rice.
Palato excel in Desserts part. They have variety of Desserts. The desserts for the buffet include
Butter Cake
Red Velvet Slice (this was the bestest)
Chocolate Pastry
Hot Chocolate Brownie
Baked Yogurt
Rose Mahalabia, and
Mango Mousse
Lastly, had the Gelatos, which are made in-house
Mixed Berry, fusion of berries curated together. And Apple Pie ,which is a must try. Loved this flavour.
Also had a tour in their bakery section, the cakes and pastries here are excellent.
Totally recommend this place.
Happy eating!! 😊😊😊
Palato, a restaurant started as an Italian speciality restaurant, now serves a global fusion cuisine with an Indian touch. I can't be more glad that they made this small adjustment. Hyderabadi or an Indian palette may find it difficult to appreciate a cuisine like Italian. Being someone who tasted the earlier version as well as the newer fusion buffet, I'm happy with this change.
For the uninitiated, this place is located inside Raheja mindspace surrounded by loads of MNCs behind Westin Hotel. The ambiance is simple yet neat. Comfortable seating arrangement without getting too congested. Clean washrooms indicating they take their hygiene seriously. Service is prompt and friendly with zero complaints. Coming to the main aspect food.
They've a make your own salads concept with choicest of veggies and dips. Nice concept I must say.
A veg and a Non-Veg soup.
6 varieties of starters in Veg and Non-Veg each. So as soon as you are seated, the starters keep pouring in. Don't miss out on the veg starters which are as good as their Non-Veg counterparts. Cottage cheese tarts were lip smackingly good and so was the sweet and spicy paneer. All the Non-Veg starters were exceedingly good. Peri Peri chicken, Mexican Chicken Chilli and Fish Tempura were my personal favorites. We were also served a veg and Non-Veg Momo. Not the best I've tasted but were decent. You also get to taste Pizzas if you want to. Again these are served on the table right out of the oven.
If after eating all that, you still have place in your tummy, there's main course too. The choice of main course isn't huge but just right is what I feel. As per the theme, everything on the main course is a fusion of Indian and global cuisine. My personal favorites were Lebanese Chicken Rice with chicken meatballs, Maggi Masala Noodles and the Thai Red curry in chicken with rice.
Usually in many buffets, the desserts are many in number but hardly anything you like. Here, even though the number may not be huge but each dessert is worth trying. And the icing on the cake is they've 2 varieties of gelatos 😍.
Overall a great dining experience. If I have to point out one area of improvement, it has to be to improve their Momos and reduce the sweetness in their welcome drink. Thursday through Sunday, they've live music as well.
The buffet is priced at 699/- all inclusive.
Paying a lot and just being able to eat a few Italian dishes?? Well here at Palato Italian buffet you can pay less and eat a wide range of Italian dishes. You can make your own salad from a wide range of ingredients, satisfy your self by applying cheese and butter on to the bread as per your taste. And enjoy authentic Italian dishes made by the chefs. Desserts were the best part.
Unplanned weekend sometimes are so better than planned weekend for the surprise it gets us. My last unplanned Sunday got me at this beautiful place @palatohyd which offers a nice menu with buffet options at decent price with some lip smacking variety of food. The place is quite spacious with an outdoor seating for people who prefer their coffee and meals with the cool breeze while the inner section has multiple seating options.
The buffet spread was huge which was a great deal at the given place. There's a salad station for all those who salad lovers like myself who haven't been able to find best of salad options until visiting here. Next followed a range of starters which were served at the table
Tried this stunning looking cocoloco with Pineapple salsa from their dessert menu which is a sheer treat for dessert lovers
TBC...

Happy eating!! 😊😊😊
A new Italian/Continental restaurant inside Raheja IT park, Palato doesn't disappoint. They have buffet for lunch and a la carte for dinner. Their buffet is probably one of the best "value for money" buffets in town! Priced at about 600, you get to taste a huge variety of Continental food! Unlike usual buffets, Palato takes their buffet seriously! Everything on the buffet is fab! The a la carte too has some interesting options. Their mains are fabulous but starters need improvement. The chef here adds his own twist to the dishes! Service is great. Desserts are heavenly!!
Palato is a beautiful outlet in Hitech-city serving amazing food. This place has very well done decor and is a brilliant one in all aspects. This place has both indoor and open airy outdoor seating.
The best time to visit this restaurant is at evening time .
The place is lively and pleasant at evenings with live music setup.
This place can accommodate upto 50-60 pax at once.
The staff here are friendly and very interactive.
I’ve been to this place for the magicpin meet-up session to try out their buffet by invite.
Food:
Soup:
We were served with soups and they had two different types of soup ,the vegetarian tomato basil soup and non-vegetarian chicken lentil soup.
The tomato basil soup had noticeable tomato flavour ,perfect in consistency and tasted amazing.
Chicken and lentil soup is basically a Mexican soup and had zesty flavours with chicken chunks and tasted delicious.
Salads:
They had a wide variety of salads out of which the iceberg lettuce and paneer chimichuri were the best ones and are a must try at this place.
Starters:
We were served with almost twelve different varieties of starters ,which had both vegetarian and non vegetarian ones.
These are the few starters which tasted great:
Peri peri chicken was a flavoursome chicken starter. It tasted pretty awesome but was a bit spicy
Chicken dim sum:
These were the perfect ones to satisfy your dim sum cravings. They were perfectly packed with chicken chunks and few veggies. This is perfect snack item.
Onion rings:
Out of all the starters these were the best ones. The onion rings were a bit sweet ,crispy and are the perfect munching food dish at this vibrant place.
Pizza:
The veg garden pizza was a eye candy with abundant veggies and lots of cheese. It looked colourful and appealing. It had strong flavours and I personally enjoyed the taste.
Main course:
I was already stomach full with the starters so just had pleasant smelling jasmine rice with creamy & delicious Thai green curry.
Desserts :
The best part of any meal are the deserts.
This place has a wide spread of deserts in their buffet menu from ice creams to cakes.
They all tasted really great !
Do visit this amazing place!!
This place is just for Italian cuisine lovers and they serve a huge buffet spread. Starters are the best part followed by Main course. One unique point of this place is DIY salads. I recommend it for sure. Do pay a visit.

Do You know? ‘Buffet’ word refers to a furniture that is usually used to display food or serve food. Over the time it has eventually become a serving format.
Palato an Italian & Continental eatery which made its entry couple of months back is your place if you are looking for a VFM Lunch Buffet that treats your palates with enticing food.
It has a Pretty expedient & pleasurable ambience which can accommodate 80 Pax, with Lunch buffet priced at 520 INR (all-inclusive including discount. With out discount it’s 600₹). Besides, they do have A-la-Carte as well starting from 3:30PM till 11:30PM with an average cost for two around 800₹ to 1000₹. The best part is the whole Buffet menu changes every week keeping it interesting.
Best recommended for corporate lunches ( as this place situated amidst corporate zone) and parties.
Coming to food, the buffet had close to 40 various options available (both veg & Non-veg ) and everything tasted good in its own way. If I have to pick few that tasted best for me then it will be #MacAndBasilPesto (Creamy and well balanced pesto flavor), #Cajungnocchi , #RedHarissaFish (soft melt in mouth fish) , #BasilPestoPasta (delicious) , #PestoChicken (Could have been better if the pesto sauce is used instead of tomato), #ChickenLasagne (creamy cheesy with minced chicken that melts in mouth) .
Each and every dessert available were really good and a special mention goes to #WarmBrownies (super moist and fudgy), #CaramelCusturd, #MangoMousse.
Overall – A Place you can count on confidently for an Italian cuisine food at an economical pricing which had a prompt service.
Well, will I recommend this place? Yes for sure under a budget-friendly Italian buffet place category.
Will go back for A-la-Carte experience soon.

==========African Food Festival============
Palato which is known for its high quality distinguished buffet and ala-carte delivered with consistent taste at VFM, has now come up with an exciting #AfricanFoodFestival. Kudos to the way buffet menu is curated which covers delicacies across North-East-Northeast-Central-Southern-West Africa.
While every dish on the buffet were exceptional, Bunnychows, Caribbean potato salad, Mushroom Sosaties, Kati Kati Chicken Wings, Niter Kibbej with Jamaican bread, Rustic Tomato oinion salsa, Jerk Roast Chicken, Spicy Roast Proteinz, Nigerian Fried rice stood out for me. Not to forget the Caramel Set Cheesecake , Lemon Meringue pie from desserts though.
This food festival runs from Feb12th to Feb28th priced at 500₹ for Veg & 525₹ for Non-Veg (Surprised with the minimal pricing for the quantity, quality & variety of food served.) . Missed their lunch buffet, don’t worry, they got you covered with a curated chef’s special 3 course set menu available all day.
Positioned rightly at corporate zone I would highly recommend this place for your corporate lunches and parties.

FoodKlicks at Palato
Palato is a brand new Italian eatery near the Raheja Tech Park next to Westin. The place from the first look looks pretty cosy and spacious. They have just started and are having buffet only in lunches and dinners are A La Carté. We were invited here to try the buffet. The buffet was priced at Rs. 500 plus taxes which seemed a steal deal to me.
But then it’s depends what they serve in 500, so let’s explore the buffet. To start with I poured myself a serving of Sweet Corn Chicken Soup and loved it. Then we were served with 3 Veg and 3 Non Veg starters and loved all of them. #RatatouilleRavioli #ChickenWings #HarissaBasa these starters were just lovely. Along with this we kept on sipping the amazing mint cooler mocktails which is complementary and unlimited 😆. The Salad Bar was so compelling that I had to go for some and I do not regret that. The Baked Beetroot Cheese Salad was too good. Moving on to the main course #ShepherdsPie #SpinachCornCrepes were really good. In the meanwhile we also had some #Pata and #Pizza. The pizza 🍕 was a delight to have, I am not a big pizza fan but loved these pizzas. I think this is going to be my regular place for Italian food. Hope they will start dinner buffet as well.
