Central head quarters of Cyberabad Police commissionerate - Gachibowli. Very prompt and effective service. Ever wondered how GACHIBOWLI had got its name? The term Gachibowli is derived from an Urdu word. Where Gachi stands for sedimentary rock or lime stone and Bowli stands for well. This Gachibowli was constructed by one of the nawab and the precise year of construction is not known. This abandoned historic Gachibowli is situated exactly opposite to the entrance of Cyberabad Police commissionerate. This deep well is well preserved by the Police Dept. and not visible from the main road, covered by the grills for safety and security reasons. Due to this well, the area is known as GACHIBOWLI. Collected this information from an employee.

Today I went to Gachibowli commissioner office ...from my heart I m saying ds words...when I said my problem on 3 wrong challan on my bike ....they took my bike number and they said with in 7 days ur issue wil be cleared....and I had wrong challan on Hyderabad division they gave phone number I spoke with them. They also responded very positively salute to entire traffic team....for what purpose I went it was cleared.....

I and my friends approached police station(s.r nagar) and filed a cheating case in November 1st week,until now no response from p.s.moreover the criminals are roaming outside very proudly & enjoying luxurious life. their should be proper time & target's to close the cases which are filed.our telangana police system is failed to do so. no proper justice in time,for people doesn't have proper influence.everything in our telangana work's on influence & money.
