Meeting one of the most humble person ever , joshi ji is so sweet , he treats customers like their god . The way he greeted me was just out of this world and i just cannot forget that moment . So down to earth person he was , my indore trip was a success just because i got to meet him and taste dahibada from his hand . His skills of throwing dahibada in the air and catching it and then adding all masalas in just one chutki are amazing . Highly recommended to visit this place in sarafa bazar whenever you are in indore .
Taste, taste, and just the taste, what you will take away from this shop is just fabulous memory of having Dahi Bada with sweet dahi and chutneys and no doubt the most shop of Sarafa Bazar. Value of Money for Taste. Totally Recommended, Forget ambiance and scenes around.
Dahi vadas are to die for, price is very much upto the mark, do visit Sarafa Bazar to try this awesome Dahi vadas
Ambiance - You do not go to Sarafa for that but still very well maintained
Food - Superb. Haven't had perfect and consistent taste like this before
Special mention to the skillset of throwing Dahi wada up in the air and not a single drop falling off.

You must must visit this iconic place if you happen to be indore and are in search of good food. The dahi vada served here it their signature dish and they are pretty good at it.
This place has maintained the old world charm, serving hygienic and tasty food in dirt cheap prices.
Strongly recommended.
Joshi Dahi Bada House
The Flying Bhallas :)
Bada Sarafa, Sarafa Bazaar
Yes you heard it right. Joshiji spins the #dahibhalla up in the air almost 3-4 feet and never ever spills or drops the bowl :)! An audience always ready with camera and claps. Joshiji has his own swag.
It is not this circus that makes this place a crowd favourite. The bhallas are jumbo size and have the right amount of spices to compliment it. The best quality dahi makes you ask for more. He has seating arrangement as well. He closes his shop as soon as he is sold out at night - often before midnight. So foodies make sure you go here first - as rest can wait.
Dahi Bada is 55 Rs. a plate and probably expensive when it comes to #Sarafa or #Indore pricing. For sure worth one visit.
Best time to go 8 PM - 10 PM
Just Awesome. Everything is awesome, Had butte ka kis and dahi bada. Both items are lip smackingly good. I'm reminded of the taste just thinking about it. I think ill visit there again today.

Very nice taste of bhutte ki kachori dahi bada bhutte ka kees.. Awesome.. Keep it up.. Very crowdy place but worth trial at least once when u visit indore..
The place is located on the main street of Sarafa. Very famous for Dahi Bada. The food quality is the most important thing. All fresh food items are available here. Along with dahi Bada, bhutte ka kiss is also a famous item here.
Visited this iconic place in sarafa bazar to try out their iconic dahi vada. It was very tasty. It was full of flavours. Must try dish when you are in Indore. You can call this flying vada as it is tossed in the air before service, unique way to serve.
The place is always crowded. But worth a try.
This is must must-try place in Sarafa. All items are best in class.
Do not restrict yourself to just the dahi vada and plzz do not stuff yourself with the whole portion either. Other than the lovely cottony soft, light and fluffy dahi vada, I love the butte ka khees they serve.. all the other snacks are also worth A try.
Tasted famous Dahi Vada it’s yummy and good ..
Because of corwd in weekends, it’s takes time to get the order and atmosphere is not friendly ..
But it’s treat to watch the Way he prepares the Dahi Vada with 5 different masala’s 😅 stunt master he is 😂
Joshi dahi bada is one of the oldest and most famous place to eat dahi badas in indore. The shop is located in the sarafa bazar. The only thing that must be kept in mind is that it has an opening time from 6 pm to 11 pm. Apart from dahi bada it also have very tasty bhutte ka kees, kachori, bhalle joshi ji him self give you service taste is awesome
I heard about this place from so many food bloggers and though I finally visited here. The taste of the food was good, but nothing great. It is very difficult for outsiders to go here because it seems difficult to locate and the vehicles also not allowed in this congested street.
Nice place in the middle of sarafa. visit their since my childhood
Their Dahi Bada is awesome but they have changed a little in their taste, Older one was more lovely. I recommend to visit them and try out the dahi bada and Gulab Jamun
Joshi Dahi Vada Houses is one of the iconic food outlets of Sarafa Bazar, Indore... It's famous for selling varieties of Indian Street Side Chaat.
Especially they are known for selling Flying Dahi Vada where sellers make plates of Dahi Vada and make it fly in the air 2-3 times during making.
And the taste of food & quality of food is 100% up to the mark.
The place is located in Sarafa Bazar, on the interior side. The place is very famous for its Dahi bada and Kheesh ki Chat. The owner is very friendly, we even requested him to show the flying the dahi bada and he did it without any hesitation. The dahi bada is served with very cold dahi, creamy & sweet in taste, there are two types of bada one is sweet & one is salty, and the final touch of the Masala adds the extra spicy flavour. The Kheesh ki chat is also very delicious, spicy in taste with fresh use of corn. You must visit this place if you are in Indore.
