Excellent food and service. If not for the food (which is truly good), I would rate this place high because of the cafe staff and their excellent service.
The only place in kolkata that serves authentic Russian cusine, and appreciates art and culture. I have had the best coffee in Kolkata, here. And, the food, mouth watering. My favourite place in town, and they play soothing tracks that creates a lovely cosy ambience.

What could be the other 'C' that connects Russia and Kolkata apart from Communism? It has to be 'Cuisine'. There are not too many restaurants in the town offering Russian delicacies other than this one, Milee Droog Cafe and Bistro.
Located near the heart of the city, Gorky Sadan to be specific (can't be more apt), this is a quiet cafe and has decent ambience to offer a great time with dear ones. They don't play unnecessarily loud music which makes things more soothing.
Coming to the point that matters, the cuisine, is more than decent. Didn't have much idea about the Russian cuisine and hence depended on the person who attended us. We ordered Chicken Olivier Salad, Chicken Bliny and Chicken Stroganoff, the best known Russian dish. While the salad was presented strikingly well and tasted really good, Bliney was okayish. Stroganoff tasted nice too, had some sort of uniqueness than the ones you probably had in other continental restaurants. Quantity was good enough for two.
It took a little long for the food to be served. This was little surprising considering the pace at which Russia delivered the COVID vaccine! When asked, they told the delay was caused the longer preparation time of the ordered items.
Overall a very decent experience for us and would certainly be paying another couple of visits to this one. Till then dasvidaniya!
A very cozy and welcoming place for freinds and family to dine in. Menu has good variety and food portions and quality is good.
The staff is courteous and recommend the mint iced latte which was awesome.
When the food was presented it was not only Nice to look at, it tasted better.
Shall visit soon with family.

if you are a fond off authentic continental food,
I must say this is the place for a date with your loved ones..
Ambience is such a great that you feel to stay for long time with multiple cups of their great freshly brewed coffee ☕ and other delightful sips....
Final verdict : An ideal place for every couple for a Romantic Date...

Cozy elegant amibience..very good staff service and surely one of the best freshly baked brownies in town they have.. Loved their brownies 😃..We ordered Pan smeared prawns and calamiri as appetizer and Chicken Stroganoff as main course..They made the perfect Chicken Stroganoff and brownies..Else, they have the amazingly tasted Irish coffee and hazelnut latte...and some of the most amazing and variety of menus 😊
This has a lovely Russian cuisine. Had chicken blini, pilaf and coffee over here almost a year ago. Excellent ambience and service and food quality

The ambience, staff and food - everything is absolutely amazing.
A perfect place to hangout with friends, formal meetings. The ambience is calm and lively. Been there a couple of times. Tried a number of dishes. My favourite is the Turkey chicken fries.
Located inside Gorki Sadan, this cafe is a very quaint place. There are a lot of books to choose from to read while you wait for your order. The staff is courteous and prompt.
Coming to the food, we had:
1. Mock tail: yuzu elder flower spiritzer & green apple mojito
2. Chicken Pelmini: a Russian cuisine of dumplings served in a broth
3. Chicken Stroganoff: shredded Chicken served with herb rice and topped with quarter slice of egg.

The ambience and the food is simply mind-blowing. The bookshelf stuffed with a few games and loads of books, the lighting, the decor, the hint of green and natural elements all comes together to form a pleasant and soothing space. The food is light on spices yet loaded with soul satisfying flavors.
Milee Droog is a Russian Cafe, those who are aware about it will know that earlier it used to be in Gorky Sadan near Minto Park. Now it has shifted to Deshpriya Park and it's a much better and bigger place with traditional vibes and contemporary flavour. The ambience is tastefully decorated and the staff are very polite and courteous. You can very well spend a laidback evening with your friends or family as this place is not overcrowded. Now coming to the food, the Russian cuisine is the main attraction and apart from that continental , Mediterranean and Indian items are also there. I will give a big thumbs up to this place and surely I will be back for more.
It has been a while since I had been to a restaurant and Milee Droog is a perfect return. Lovely home style decor, with chequered floors, high ceiling and a soothing color combination across walls and furnishings.
Food excellent, service commensurate to the food. Very polite and helpful servers made it an excellent experience.
Had a Mocha, Lemon Iced Tea, Smazona Ryba(Polish fried fish- Bhetki) and Pork chops. Everything was perfect and just loved it.

If you would like to taste something different then you must visit this place. It's a 3 storied restaurant, the ground floor is the cafe, 1st floor restaurant, 2nd floor hooka is served.
We ordered Russian blinni- ham and cheese. Taste Wise wonderful..
Then we ordered chicken stroganof which is served with herbed rice
And hummus, lamb and peta bread.
Finally Mexican highball as a mocktail.
All dishes are exquisite. Price wise on a higher side but ambience and taste will make it up. Service is also very prompt.
This cafe has four floors designed exquisitely. So definitely deserves praise for the ambience specially at night. As for the food and service both were nice. Had to try the ham bilnis as it is their speciality and we were not disappointed. Other than that I had an iced hazelnut latte and chicken strogonoff. Would have liked more options for dessert.

So, last Saturday I visited this cafe with my family. It was my second time visit. The ambience is quite mesmerizing. Sourav and his team was too good in their services. Really appreciable.
And the food is very yummilicious. The chimichuri grilled prawns and penne mixed pasta was superb. Mushroom Blinis was the best. Also do try the Russian tea. It's flavour is awesome.
Awesome Russian and Mediterranean foods...with very beautiful atmosphere! Lots of greens and open space... Do refreshing! And good for kids too!
This place is over-hyped and over expensive, the only reason people come here is due to the ambiance and environment which is one of the best I have seen in Kolkata. It's an Instagram-worthy place and the food available is good no doubt but at the same time there are over priced too, obviously we all can guess it's due to the brilliant ambiance available, the architect of the building is retro style with a brilliant fusion of modern touch which will definitely be a good experience
One classy Cafe serving Russian food primarily. The ambiance is dainty with pastel shades...lots of sitting space at different levels. The food is also very good.
