Went out a lunch. Ordered special thali which chicken in combination. Coming to the food. It was amazing. Very lite and just like home cooked food. They should work on the quantity though. Quality is well maintained. Misti doi was an elixir. Chicken was very tender. I love aalu posto the most. Worth trying. Pure blend of bengali spices.
This place is a hidden gem, located opposite of The bhoj company Esplanade. I had my noboborsho Dinner at here as this place serve authentic Bengali food. ❤️

We ordered so many food items, most them are really good.
Ilish Thali, Mutton Thali, Bhetki paturi thali, Basonti polau, Kosha Mangsho, Chingri malaikari, Bhaja ilish were ordered by us.
Chingri was not that good, but rest of the items were good.
Service was good, & the place is responsible too.

We have failed to meet each other on 'poila boisakh' (পয়লা বৈশাখ) , the bengali new year day. So we decided to meet on the very next day.Since we are exploring bengali hotels near Esplanade so our first target was 'Kasturi', but due to some issues there, we decided to move this new branch of 'Kasturi'.
We ordered first 'Aampana Shorbot' after entering into the hotel. It feels like 'amrit' after consuming this scorchy heat.
There after we ordered Salad, Basmati rice, Dal , Basanti pulao, Dab Chingri, Mutton Dukbunglow.
I would like to mark 'Mutton Dukbunglow' here, it's awesome. It's superb actually. Maybe it is the speciality of this hotel.
Ambience is overall good. Needs a little improvement .Everything apart of this is awesome (including staff behavior).
Last but no the lest, quantity is enough in terms of price and as well as quality too. With around ₹650 -750 , you'll get a healthy & tasty replenishment of mind.

food quality is excellent..we had rice shonamug daal alu fry..vetki paturi doi ilish.the dessert specially misti doi and gulab jamun which they make themselves is too yummy...must try..hospitality is good too..for now they are not accepting cards..so be sure to visit with cash.
This is my 1st visit to the not soo old restro... The decor is totally eye catching really a nice compact concept & the staffs are really great didn't expect this much comfort in this new place... the place is right next to the famous Bengali restro Kasturi...a few minutes walk from there...

I had Bhaat wid mugh dal followed with jhiri jhiri alubhaja & my fav Kachki maach er chochori its yum mouth watering flavours... As am a bagal i had Ilish bhapa uff its heaven soo tasty & i den ended up wid chatni & sweets... I definitely recommend this restor wid my friends

Good food.. new themed restaurant in town... Visit this place last Sunday.. Enjoy what they had to offer for veg... My friends who accompanied me enjoyed the fish Patti with the dhakai style pulao.. a must visit place to have a gastronomic blast.
This is an amazing place for Bengali cuisine. EVERYTHING tastes great. I am in love with the Kochupata diye Chingri. The Bhetki Paturi is awesome as well. Also tried Shukto, Alu Gobi, which have very unique test. The Mutton Kosha I had was good, like the other restaurants. But the other items are just extra ordinary. Highly recommended.

Bangla-r-Shaad has stopped it's services for the mentioned branch address on GMaps.We had to ask nearby folks to know about it. It is running under the name of Kasturi restaurant. The food is good and authentic bengali. Service speed and frequency is also good.

Better than Bhoj Company I felt. You won't find it in Zomato or Uber eats neither Swiggy but this place has got great taste in terms of food. I loved it.
Bhetki Paturi, Bhetki/Illish Biriyani is a must try.
Restaurant near New Market in sudder street with a great interior. their interior is unique and represents typical traditional Bengali households. they only serve traditional bengali food. food is also very tasty, especially their traditional deserts (gulab jamun and sweet card) are must try items. Also their staffs are very polite and swift.
Best place for having traditional bengali food, they serve great quality food in exchange of moderately cheap price. Just love this place.
