Being located on the main road in Southern Avenue, the place has a pleasant visibility. The decor of the place is simple and comfortable with sofas and relaxing chairs. On their Deck Hours menu you can get drinks in a reasonable price. Their staff behaviour is professional and praise worthy.
This time we went their only for drinks but the soothing enjoyable ambiance and their vast menu is quite inviting for another visit soon.

This bar located near what's app cafe.. little bit confused to find out entrance gate bt still a great experience. We ordered captain's deck special pizza, 1 hookah (kiwi spring water flavoured) and 2 pegs (30ml serving)
The pizza was little bombs of cheese, tasty goodness. When our pizzas arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded.
The crust was crisp, flavorful, and chewy. The toppings worked together beautifully. The pizza was packed with flavour, and the cheese had a great consistency and very little oil. Bt the pizza size too small expect to price range...we got 10 inches pizza in other restaurants to the same price..need to improve pizza size....comes to hookah quality hookah is to lite teste... The ambience is quite good all over experience was great...
Captain’s Deck Bar and Grill is a themed restaurant based on the Deck of a Ship. Located near Golpark, this is a gem of a place. The restaurant has a beautiful, soothing ambience. A great place to hang out and chill with friends.
We basically went their for drinks during their happy hours offer. The drinks menu has a lot of options and the price is also very reasonable.
Would surely visit this place again to try out their food menu.
Food was very good. Ambience could have been better. Live music shows /Band performance happens. The setup i think needs to be revamped and updated to make the place more happening.

Captain's Deck Bar and Grill is located in Southern Avenue, Meghnad Sen Sarani Road. This is a very interesting first Deck themed Bar and Restaurant in Kolkata which serves amazing food and drinks alltogether. The food of this place is amazing and so are the drinks. They have an elaborate menu which have variety of continental dishes along with chinese and North Indian.
Overall, really liked this place and will visit here anytime soon.

Apart from that, beer is slightly costly compared to other options in liquor! They have Happy Hours going on most of the times! However, you won't get a beer in the Happy Hours menu!
Last time I visited, ordered Fish Finger coupled with beer!
This place offers Zomato Gold as well.. So, can be a good deal for you if you have it !!

Captain's Deck Bar and Grill is located at Meghnad Saha Sarani, few minutes walking distance from Golpark. The ambience of this deck themed bar cum restro is really cool and the best part is they have separate section for hookah as well. They have introduced their version of happy hours, called deck hours when they serve drinks at very reasonable price. Recently I visited this place with my friends and tried some of their special dishes and drinks.
We tried some cocktails like Aye Captain, Sex with Captain, LIIT and from their food menu we tried the following items :
•Deck's Special Chicken - Which is Soy and Honey glazed chicken, tossed with sesame seeds. This item is their speciality so don't forget to try this one. - 5/5 (Highly Recommended)
•Mutton Chilli Fry - If you are a die hard mutton lover you'll definitely like it. - 4/5
•Chicken Ala Kiev - The piece of chicken was stuffed with butter and Served with mashed potato and veggies. This item was really delicious . - 5/5 (Must Try)
•Chicken Strogonoff - A dish of meat sauteed with onion & cooked in sour cream and mushroom sauce accompanied with wild rice. - 4.5/5

Captain's Deck Bar and Grill comes up with their own creative theme of Pirate's Invasion, this week. We had the opportunity to visit this place during their ongoing festival, and find out about what it has to offer.
The Invasion features a hefty stretch on the Deck hours menu! The Deck Hours (happy hours on drinks) stretches throughout the day till the 22nd of December. Probably the best time to avail this offer, if you ask me!
The second important attraction is the incorporation of a Selfie Booth, made extravagant with Pirate Props. Take pictures and tag this place to avail exciting discounts. Also, the best picture during the festival wins a great hamper! So do be sure to check-in, take pictures, and tag the place! 😊

This a small frill free bar with some good food. It took some time to order, but the service after that is good. There was live music. We tried chilli mutton fried and mutton kabiraji. Food was quite good. They have a small get together zone.
A good place to visit on a Tuesday and get drunk. The place had a good vibe. Service was pretty prompt and proper. The only issue was that most of the drinks (beer and cocktails) were out of stock. I really wanted to try the cocktail called Aye-Aye Captain but had to settle fot LIIT.

Each and every drink is unique and beautiful. From food section every dish looks so colourful and well decorated. Double fried mushroom was crunchy and filled with generous amount of mushroom. Megh malai kebab is simply malai kebab hide in the foam. But is is great with green chutney. Mutton Gilafi seekh kabab was full of flavours. Hara bhara kebab is moist and awesome. Chicken strogonoff had nice smile and taste is even better. It had nice oregano's aroma and creamy taste. Chicken ala Kiev looks very pretty. It will reminded you a giant bird comes with sauteed veggies and apple cuts. Crunchy and flavourful chicken goes very well with the mash potatoes. Veg au gratin is also good. Baked fish is super yuumy. It is cheesy creamy. Creamy fish is amazing with the toast.
Service is super fast. Quality and quantity is top notch.

So, This place ... even if it is a new one, has a great scope at being great!!! And it is to be duly noted that this restaurant is themed based on the DECK OF A Ship!!! Starting from absolutely awestruck decors to awesome food... this place is a sure shot great one in the making. Service was pretty good.

This Ship Deck themed cafe is one of the the hidden gem in Southern Avenue. This cafe is located in Meghnad Shah Sarani in the streets of Southern Avenue. Precisely 5-10 minutes walking distance from Golpark.
This cafe has a beautiful ambiance and the interior is superbly decorated. The main attraction of this cafe is the Ship Deck themed interior. The owner of this place is very friendly and welcoming. The staffs are good too and their service is brilliant.
Now coming to the food we ordered. Few of them are highlighted below.
In frame:
Cuddle on The Beach - This was a Mocktail that was served to us. The drink was amazing and it was refreshing too.
Megh Malai Murgh - This was the starter that we had. The pieces of chicken were were very well marinated and brilliantly prepared. It was served with salad and Pudina Chutney. The item was delicious.
Naan - The naan was made really well. It was very soft and tasty.
Pahari Murgh - What an amazing dish it was. The dish was very well cooked and tasted delicious. It went really nice with the naan that was served.
Caramel Custard - This was a dessert to finish with. The custard tasted damn good. This is a recommended item from this place.
