Great food � my go to place when I’m in Kolkata and the owner is very kind and helpful. I was on a diet and she made special lamb with zero salt. Highly recommend this place.
This was in my list for long and finally I got to taste their fine cooking skills!!! I must say this was the best juicy chicken burger I ever had!!! It had an aunthetic continental flavour!!! Those who are yet to experience this foodgasm plz go ahead and order some of their amazing dishes!!! Thanks local gourmet for quenching my continental cravings!!! By the way they make amazing desserts too...must try their trio sweet experience with red velvet cupcakes and strawberry, chocolate cups
This is a cute little hole in the wall place with amazing food. The dishes are well cooked and very authentic taste. The owner and I share a common interest in fermented foods. A very quiet atmosphere, where people can work and enjoy great food.
Meat lovers paradise
I lived in south Calcutta and always had a wide variety in food. In salt lake, initially the choices
were limited. But then Local Gourmet opened and now I can pork, buff, chicken, turkey, duck
whenever I want. The duck and turkey only available during winter. But their bbq buff is a must
have during wintertime and the Lecter platter is a must during party at home!
We tried the chicken burger, the spicy pork ramen, and the Mac n cheese with extra bacon. The
chicken was juicy. Very happy that it is pure meat without any fillers like breadcrumbs and all.
Loved the coleslaw, tasted sweet like a dessert. Spicy pork ramen was very filling, good enough for
two of my friends (small eaters). And the Mac n cheese was perfect. Nothing too oily, right amount
of cheese, and who does not love bacon!?

Small place opened up a few years ago, great burgers, we come here for adda. Wish they had
some coffee, but otherwise this place has amazing food. We always add bacon to everything. Top
3 items (according to me) are the burgers, the pork ribs, and the under appreciated fried chicken.
Top quality, never have stomach issues after having bhaja from here!
I order from here regularly. Chicken roast is very good, I also like the chicken Mac n cheese. Its
very good quality and I have this for lunch/dinner at least twice a week. Would recommend this
place to friends. Please try for yourself.
Great food, even better prices!
This place is tucked away right at the edge of sector 5, and man does it serve some good food! We
tried the B**f you! Ramen bowl (innovative name, btw) and the pork ribs. Mind = blown! That
ramen bowl I’ll keep coming back for! It warmed me up like a sweater, and the pork ribs were like a
cherry on top! 10/10 for the food, and the chill place.
I am writing this review after trying different items on different days. I have tried to date - the Lecter
platter, the ham bao bao, the roast and BBQ buff, the fried chicken, and the ramens. My favourite
is the ramen right now because its cold, and it warms up your soul. One of the best ramens in the
city, comparable to any big player. Extra bacon is always a good quantity. Food is made fresh, and
you can taste that.
Fried cheese - 10/10! Coating is crunchy, fresh, oil used is good. Will definitely come back for this again and again. Love the fries and mashed potatoes served along with it. Thw fried burger is also great. Coleslaw is homemade and very tasty.
Chicken burger - very filling, tasty, good bank for the buck. Curly fries are good, and coleslaw was tasty. Chicken was juicy and flavourful. Much bigger portion size than others in the area
We had the Lector Platter and the ribs. Great combination. Went very well with drinks. Would definitely order again when friends are here. Perfect for Friday night fun.

What else does one need after enjoying #three movies back to back - what else but a gastronomical treat.
Since, I was near Saltlake - my usual destination to drop in was none other than Local Gourmet as always..
Enjoyed #BACONWRAPPEDMINIBEEFSTEAKS - do I really need to talk about a dish which delightfully has both - #bacon & #beef in it - of course not - it was heavenly for a carnivore like me!!
Also gorged on one of my other favourites - #OinkBurger - a delicious proposition with extra bacon and cheese.. Undoubtedly, one of the best burgers in town..

Best place to get superb yet affordable steaks and grills in Kolkata. Chef Atrei is a true foodie and cares about her diners' culinary experiences, and the dishes she offers up are a testament to her skill and care.
I tried the BBQ semi smoked pork and the chicken roast meals. The meat was tender, juicy and well seasoned, and the sauces were subtle and rich in flavour. The mash was very creamy as well. Atrei also tries to make her meals healthy, by minimising simple carbs and grains, and prioritising the protein and vegetables.
I can't wait to go back again. Will def try the burgers next time.
Seems like this place has shut down, which is really sad because it was truly one of a kind. I don't think I'll get to deliver such massive pork ribs or their amazing pork BBQ with mashed potatoes at such a reasonable prices anywhere else. Even their items like cheesy fries or chicken tenders were pretty great.
Tiny takeaway place tucked inside a garage lane in Salt lake CL Block/Sector 2, this is a place which seems to be taking its serves seriously.
Items are packed in easy to maneuver boxes and are priced attractively. They serve some very good chicken , beef & pork dishes including steaks & burgers.
I've tested their Roast Chicken & for 150₹, it is great value for money. Looking forward to multiple repeat visits. Warning : they don't accept cards yet, but do have paytm.

Letting that slide. Considering the fact that I am a sucker for burgers. This little cloud kitchen serves one of the best burgers in town. So much so that you might mistake their oink burger for a tenderloin one. They have made immense improvements since they launched. Their buns are fluffy and has the right amount of sweetness now. They're adding pickles as well. Loved their steak too. Oh and don't even doubt their mashed potato. It'll tickle your tastebuds beyond the foods grave. Ask for some parsley butter from the chef when you do. :D overall along with their packaging and price I don't think they deserve anything less than a 5. Please feel free to call the owners if you have any complaints they're great people.
Delicious burgers with scrumptious, real, juicy meat! Signature steaks delivered home! Looking forward to their Christmas turkey roast.
Being a take away joint, one would not be that keen on munching stuff sitting at the garage of a joint here. However, that being a shortcoming, the place oozes quality control in terms of food being served. While the Oink burger is the very best pork burger I have had in a very long time, the other dishes didn't let me down either. The dishes are well executed and well garnished too. Hoping for a better seating area next time I drop in.
The food was undoubtedly good. My friend and I had a chicken burger and a tenderloin steak.
The main items were really good, however, the mashed potatoes (with the steak) and the chips (something like potato chips) served with the food wasn't all that nice, and the price was slightly steep, given the quality. The colesaw that came with the burger was fresh and really good.
However, make no mistake: the streak and the burger were both extremely tasty. The packaging was excellent.
And, it was incredibly nice of Rajarshi (one of the chefs, I believe, at Local Gourmet) to offer me both the sauces that came with the steak (after he saw that I was confused about choosing one) and then provide that one with the steak.
Yesterday I went there, it was a first time for me tasting buff. I was advised the Mac and cheese buff. It was too good to explain in words. I loved it. Moreover the people, present there are so cordial and decent. Good food. Good people. I'm pleased.
The best burgers in town! The patties are dripping with juice, topped with gooey cheese and amazing bacon. Each bite left us satiated yet wanting for more...
