This place is located in the dacres lane. Surely a hidden gem. They make really good tea. And malai toast is to die for. Highly Recommended.

My father always told me about this place,Faltu tea centre. I heard from my father that this shop established many years ago.
I tried Malayi toast and tea. Tea was very usual or average. One big size toasted bread slice,on top of that they put ample amount of malayi and some sugar sprinkle on top. It was heavenly delicious.
Very pocket friendly. Worth a visit.
Opted for a slice of their malai toast for just Rs 7/-
Toasted bread with warm malai, topped with a bit of sugar is a delicious match and is more of a dessert.

Esplanade is known for its markets and its offices. This is a destination for everyday office crowds. The tea is available in 3 sizes, small medium and large while other options like butter toast and malai toast is also available. I tried malai toast and its really tasty. The fun factor is its really affordable. Healthy and affordable food for everyday.
This is a small tea stall located at Dacres Lane. I love their malai toast which comes for ₹7/- only. It tastes amazing. Do give it a try guys. Also this place is famous for beautiful tea they serve.

Faltu Tea Stall, is a gem of an eatery which offers some lip smacking toast and tea at a nominal rate. highly recommended their malai toast.
This is my favorite chai place in Calcutta.. everytime when i have my layover in Calcutta I definitely visit this place without a miss. I love the service and ultimate taste of this tea center....

This shop is always crowded. I tried their kaju malai toast and tea. The toast was delicious. Tea was kinda average, i mean it's nothing like i hadn't before. It was a bit expensive too. 15rs tea is something you can finish in one sip only!
Had cheese chicken sandwich.. which was extremely nice . It was all the crunch and creaminess.
Also had chocolate sandwich which is also good but as I don’t prefer banana I didn’t find it super tasteful..it was okay. I won’t have it again in my life . But will definitely choose cheese chicken sandwich

If you are a tea lover and visit RN Mukherjee Road then "Faltu Tea Centre" is a must visit place for you. Although they are mainly famous for their tea, they also offer different kinds of sandwiches. Tea, Toast Veg Sandwich, Non Veg Sandwich...you name it, they have everything for you.

Contrary to the name, the chai is definitely Goooooood!
It's a nice tea center in the heart of the business area. The toast that we had was decent.
A must try are malai toast and special masala tea.
we also tried peanut butter toast as well, but that was not as good as malai toast. But decent enough.
there is a muri vendor right outside the shop. we tried samosa muri and papri chat, and both were made quite good.
all in all, a good place for a quick bite.

Not too sweet, but just so indulgent, so soft and so so so good, the malai toast is a must have. The tea paired along perfectly, if you're in Kolkata, this place is not to be missed!

One of the best tea on in the city of joy. Very much price worthy and it has its own unique flavour. Tea lovers should definitely visit and taste it. I would recommend to try it with malai toast or butter toast which is another definitely worthy things here you can find and combine those you can enjoy a higher level of taste. Tea available in মাটির ভাঁড় {rs. 6/10/15} and toasts are Rs. 7 and another pineapple jelly toast also available.
