Well, if I were to describe this place in a word, it’d surely be - exuberant! Right from the decor to the staff and the dishes, everything about the place just sets your spirits soaring. And their Chinese menu is what I feel you check out! Starting off with the ravenous Chicken Shitake Siumai and classic Hot & Sour soup (both of which are surprisingly pocket-friendly as well as delectable) to the timeless Burnt Garlic Fried Rice & Chicken Lemongrass Thai Red Sauce, no wonder it’s an absolute treat for a food-enthusiast’s tatsebuds! The Singapore style Noodles (Mei Fung) falls slightly short of expectations, with the noodles being a little over-fried and oily. The dessert section, however, deserves a huge shoutout for the luscious and extremely fluffy Tender Coconut icecream (indeed the best that I’ve ever tasted). Service is super prompt with waiting time being limited to just about 15 minutes from order. Overall, a wonderful place for a hearty brunch!
An upscale, authentic and amazing Asian fine dining restaurant. With a peaceful atmosphere, beautiful yet minimalistic decor, it gives out the vibe of a beautiful sophisticated restaurant. The servers are very attentive and cooperative, and from suggestions to service, they provide you with the very best. The food is amazing, authentic Asian and not the distorted version we find in most places nowadays.
1. Bangkok grilled chicken satay: grilled chicken with spices, served with peanut dip. A Thailand street food speciality.
2. Gai yang: country style roasted chicken from northern Thailand, tossed with onions in a sweet and spicy sauce with a dip which complemented it perfectly. A must have, the visit is incomplete without this dish.
3. Yong chow egg fried rice: a light fried rice which goes perfectly with the main courses.
4. Chongqing style chicken hot pot: a spicy gravy dish with chicken, mushroom, bamboo shoots in crispy chilli paste. A spicy, tantalizing dish and a must try.
5. Tub tim krob: water chestnut jellies in sweetened coconut milk cream. A perfect ending to an amazing meal. And also one of the best desserts I've had in a while. Light, fulfilling, easily enough for two.
Pocket pinch: 5000 for 2. ( but completely worth it).
Vintage Asia is an asian dine in restaurant outlet in J.W.Marriott, a five star hotel. It a class apart from the other busy restaurants in the city, because of its ambiance.
Talking about the ambiance of the outlet, it is really calm, soothing and aesthetic. Decorated with vintage asian stuffs all around. They do not have buffets, they only serve a la carte. Also, they have a Bar inside the outlet only
