I went there today for christmas lunch and ordered the Shahi Chicken Biryani. The biryani was light. The taste was different but really good. It has dry fruits. The quantity they provide is very less. One pot is enough for only one people. The price is bit high compared to the quantity they provide.
A must visit if you're a fan of Indian cuisine, the Reshmi Kebab is a must have over here (accompanied by the addictive red onions), coupled with the Pindi Chana, it's the best Indian meal you'l have when in Kolkata.
Also, its historical, opened in 1954, its the oldest restaurant in Park Street.
I really appreciate the ambience & food quality & food quantity. All of the staffs are at least 25 years of experience so they know how to make a normal customer to a most valued customer. I never get such kind of soft chicken tandoori. The crowd of this restaurant really maintain the class. Thanks.
Recently I visited this restaurant located very conveniently at Park street. They serve all cuisines and in addition to that, they sport a bar with all kinds of luxuries. The decor is pretty ordinary yet surprsingly decent, one that makes you go gaga over food and beverages. I tried the continental cuisine in which I had fish and chips, cream of chicken soup and grilled chicken, each of which were cooked to perfection. In the dessert I tried vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce, which was amazing as well. Ah what a lovely evening spent over amazing food and an aesthetically appealing décor! Looking forward to visiting them again😍
This place is quiet nice bt i won't say the best in park street bt better than many...the one main limitation of the resturant is that the menu is too limited the variation of the items are not up to the mark may it be continental or italian or seafood...the sandwiches tastes good bt the amount is insufficient according to the price....even they have a separate section named as our specialities which is the desert section, i tried triple sundae bt was dissapointed as they seeved just 3 scoops of icecream nd priced it as rs.250 not worthy...staffs are cordial
Didn't like the food...and also price is really high...only two good things for the restaurant is the staffs and the ambience...but with that much higher price you can get a better ambience also in other places...
The name says it! You get quality food for sure. Located in Park Street, this restaurant could be among the best for family or business dining.
Well one more of an authentic cuisine in the charming Park Street Area. food not as expensive as the other typical Park Street places.Food quality and ambience is average.
The chana pindi served here is the BEST ... overall everything is good and always a nice eating experience... it’s just that you feel little bloated the next morning...
I went there on last Christmas and had their famous chicken sizzler which was amazing...one must try their golden fried prawn which is something to die for and also had the pineapple punch that was too good
The legendary restaurant at Park street. A heritage place you must visit during your stay in city of joy. The food, the old nostalgic vibes, the staff everything is outstanding. Must try their all time favourite tomato fish and chicken bharta. Sublime.
A neat and clean cosy place with a good ambience for dining in. Location wise the place is very convenient for people coming from any corner of the city. Food items are tasty, service is prompt, efficient and customer-friendly. Though the pricing of items especially the liquors served are a bit on the higher side, altogether it's value for money.
Went here for the first time after visiting Kolkata for 14 years and I can’t believe it took me so long to try Kwality. Incredible North Indian food with specials that were like nothing I’ve ever had before. Excellent service and food made with obvious care. A+
Food was nice, ambience also good. But the staffs are unprofessional and it appears in their service. We ordered mushroom and it was not available but the one who took our order didn't even inform us and said he forgot to inform. Food taste is different and quite good.
I travelled to Kolkata only for having lunch here along with my family.During my childhood While we were staying at Kolkata every weekend my father used to take us here and try their pine apple punch, chilli chicken, fried kulcha, pindi chana and tutti frutti. This is the same food we tried here on this visit. The food tasted super nice.
Kwality is less of a name and more of a brand in the Park street neighborhood. It bears the same legacy as that of a Mocambo or Peter Cat.
For the appetizers we ordered Stuffed Tangdi & Mutton Burrah Kebab. Both were FANTASTIC, and a Must try.
Main course had Chicken Tettrazini ( lips smacking), Chilly fish and Egg fried rice.
The price is wee bit on the higher side but the food quality makes up for it.
The food quality is impressive and services are prompt. This place has a certain aura of old world charm attached to it.
Most people go to this place because of nostalgia. The food is very tasty. However, the decoration and upholstery looks dated. The service is average but has a old era charm.
One of the best gastro experiences for the people of the city, it's a must try. The food might be a tad expensive, but the quality, taste and presentation is totally worth it. Do make reservations or keep some time in hand, since it is often crowded even on weekdays.
Do try the chicken seekh kabab, fish tandoor kabab and keema naan
Since we had tried Mumbai and Delhi Kwality restaurants, we had to try food at their Kolkata outlet as well. And as expected, it didn't disappoint us. Been running for more than 70 years, it had that old world charm with amazing food.
