This is a small Chinese restaurant in Chowringhee that my father has been taking me since I was a kid. I still visit this restaurant every time I go to Kolkata. Like a true fan of Kolkata Chinese, I absolutely love their chicken Hakka chowmein and chilli chicken. Over the years I have eaten in many many restaurants around the world, but restaurants like this hold a special place in your heart.
food is quite good at all..and very very budget in price ...quantity is also okay ...main thing is quality and the quality is taste wise good but too much spicy.......
My mom introduced me to this place and she used to visit since her college days. The food is to die for. Please maintain the standard and yes will see you soon. I am out of Calcutta for the last 20 years. And will be back n3xt week.
Really a good place with Chinese delicacy. The place is quite gloomy. But the service manual was much satisfying. The food items were mouth watering.
Well It is located near the shahara building opposite of Neheru Children academy. The inner decor is not so cool. Even the don't accept any card payment. this was a disappointment. But the taste of food made me forget about all the disappointment. We ordered mixed fried rice and garlic chicken. Quantity wise and taste wise it was amazing what I didn't expect. Though It was delicious but the cost was high for that quality.
Old and authentic restaurant. Love their pork items specially chilli pork. It melts in your mouth. Their chilli pork is lil bit different from other restaurants. ❤
One of kolkata's oldest Chinese restaurants. Upon entering the place the first impression is not very pleasant to be frank. But this place has seen batter days. Whatever the cause of its sorry state maybe, till date the Chinese owner has managed to keep its regular visitors honest. The food, needless to say is the main attraction. Although its menu has diminished since its glory days, but the authenticity of the dishes made today is still the same. Very few of Kolkata's Chinese restaurants serve such authentic chinese food. If you are around chowringee or at Nandan and looking for a place to have chinese you should give it a try. One reminder though. On weekdays its hard to get a table during lunch time because of the shortage of tables and high number of office people coming here for lunch.
A small restaurant beside Bishop's house. After Pandal hopping when we were hungry that time I found that place. Good food really we ordered mixed fried rice and Schezwan Chicken which we really enjoy.

A small Chinese restaurant which is not at all classy when it comes to ambience but still deserves a mention for its awesome food served. Ordered Manchurian chicken and steamed rice which were really delicious. A must visit if one loves Chinese food!
One of the best place to have chinese cuisine in kolkata, the restaurant is at walking distance from birla planetarium and st. Paul's church...
Here you can have one of the finest chinese dishes at a very reasonable rate...
I would personally recommend Prawn chilly and Nonveg mixed fried rice ... But you can also opt for othe dishes also ...
The atmosphere is a bit uncomfortable if you're claustrophobic but the food is DAMN freaking good. I still remember the taste vividly. Authentic Chinese for sure
Nice cosy little place. Was happy to see the owners having the same food as was being served to us. Gives the guests confidence in the quality of food. The waiter dada was gracious enough to suggest a veg version of fried wontons and it was absolutely delicious. The washroom was old but so clean which is another plus point. I would love to go there again.

New Embassy is one of the oldest Chinese restaurant. It's in the prime location, just a few steps from Exide crossing towards maidan.
This is actually a hidden gem. They serve really great food at reasonable price. Quantity is also adequate.
It's not a very spacious one. Indoor seating arrangement is okay okay.
The owner, the staffs all are very well behaved. 😊

good ambience, good food , we tried mixed fried rice and golden prawn. Reasonable price
This is an old place near elgin road. Might appear a bit lacklustre compared to the newer and fancier places, but what it lacks in show, makes up in the taste perspective. I would suggest their honey chilli pork and pan fried fish with a noodle of your choice. Pretty good quantity and the staff behaviour is quite good.
Just checked in with my family here. I haven't had such good honey chilli pork in a while. I have some compliants, though. The quantity of the food could have been better. The dishes were so good, but the pieces of meat could have been bigger, simply because doing so would make the food a 5/5. The meifoon was great and the chicken in red wine, as suggested by the owner, was a flavourful accompaniment to our selected spread. I'm definitely going back for that honey chilli pork!
