Amazing and mouth watering saapad,the quality is superb, it's one place I visit whenever I come to calicut
Went in here for lunch today..there were seats available even though there was a crowd..meals costed 50 rs, they have options of boiled rice and ponni rice..sambar ,pickle, papadam and 2 side dishes, mor n rasam ..was decent ..worth the money..

Best vegetarian restaurant in kozhikode, a bit crowded in the morning, seats are limited. We had their butter masala dosa and special ghee roast (with extra ghee).We also had vada which is sometimes cold, but today it was warm and crispy❤️. The hotel does not have any parking space and is close to the kozhikode beach. Food is cheap and delicious.
A good place for vegetarian food . This is located close to the beach and they serve delicious breakfast items like podi idli, dosa, uthappam. We had filter coffee & tea, both were good. The place is clean and the service is good.

The restaurant was also well maintained and clean, with a well-maintained washroom. The staff were friendly and courteous, and the service was efficient. The only downside was that parking in the area is quite difficult, with only street parking available. Nevertheless, if you're looking for great vegetarian options near Kozhikode beach, I would definitely recommend giving Sri Venkatesh Lunch Home a try.
A neat and clean vegan hotel near the beach. The food is good nothing out of the world through and it's fresh too! The dosa is really big and the idli's soft and the vada is nice and crunchy on the outside. Not expensive at all. All the staff is also following hygiene protocols, wearing masks and hairnets, prompt service too!
Had breakfast on the way to a meeting. A busy place, may be difficult to find a seat. But once you find one, the wait will be worth it. Jd ghee roast and tea. Service was good.

Nice place for vegetarian breakfast. Even though the hotel is in an old premise the place is very tidy and the food is hygienic. Worth a try. Last but not the least, nice coffee 😉
Small, good and affordable place to eat veg food near Calicut beach. Locally known as Pattarude Hotel, I recommend the upma with chutney and sambar, if it is available. Most food is good here, i won't say it is all good as i Haven't tasted all the items but i will say that i Haven't heard anyone say bad about this place.
As the new gen places started popping up nearby, it is way quiter here and if you are looking for a quick bite after a walk on the beach or a nice evening, this might be your best pick.
