Excellent food and specially dosa and rate are also very reasonable which is the best part of this restaurant and packaging whlie delivering food is also hygienic.

Food ordered from here has authentic south Indian taste with good quantity at reasonable price. However it's sometimes very spicy and comes with very poor packaging.
Ordered idli and butter paneer dosa. The food was good but very spicy. Overall it was a good experience except for the delivery from zomato. The delivery guy was unable to locate my place despite of me being constantly on the phobe and guiding him at every step.

This cafe had almost remained unchanged in last 35-40 years, barring the prices which too continue to be fair and reasonable. Quality of food is par excellence. the bigger, better famous joints in Hazratganj need to learn the art of south indian food from this place. If you are looking for star ambience then avoid, but if you are in need of decent tiffin which does not burn your pocket do venture into the lanes that lead you to madras cafe. The Madrasi Dosa is too tasty and good. And the one thing that fantastic is the way of surffing.

The restaurant serves filter coffee, cold drink, vada, dosa varieties. They specialise in Madras Dosa which tends to be spicy with hot tangy sweet madras masala. I wanted to have crispy dosa, so ordered Butter Rava Masala Dosa, which was good, the crust was very crispy and buttery, But less tangy. Masala was fine with no chopped tomato as original dosa masala should be. Do try here sometime.
