Neat and clean place. Ghee idli and poori are very nice. Coconut chutney and poori curry are very delicious. Fast serving. Rightly priced. Good value for money. Would highly recommend

If I ever feel like having Idli, this is the only place I can think of. I love their ghee podi idli which is unique and so heavenly. Their saambar and chutneys are great. One of the best. I also tried their ghee dosa and it was as good as usual. They never fail to impress.

Authentic South Indian taste. Staff served with so much love. All items were Super tasty. Idli, vada, dosai and the coffee was also too Good. U will.find Some Parking in the side roads with little effort.

Today morning I'm completed Breakfast on this Hotel. Idly , Dosa, Vadai, Normal venpongal and finally Filter coffee ☕ . Foods are Good but just maintain to dinning and floor area. And also try to change hand wash area because that area to height.

What you’ll like: + Decent looking and clean vegetarian restaurant near Teppakulam. + Traditional South Indian restaurant with varieties of chutney and sambar. + Ghee podi idli is a must try dish here. + Value for money food for what it offers. What you won’t like: - Podi is a touch too hot to taste. - Limited parking space for cars.

The mushroom biryani was great. This eateries has a plenty of options to choose from. North Indian food were also good. The place was bit crowded probably due to the lunch hours.

Well, I got to know about this restaurant on Google. This was my best find in Madurai for South Indian food. They serve various kinds of chutneys and this makes the place different than a regular South Indian restaurant. It is very affordable place to eat. Even though the restaurant was full, the service was prompt and fast. I ordered Ghee Podi Idly, Masala Rava Dosa and Ghee Masala Dosa. They serve unlimited chutney with any dish.

First time I am trying The Idly Shop....Always been a good fan of the famous Madurai murugan idly. We wedding group enjoyed the Idly Shop ... breakfast. I enjoyed the Idly and podi idly and rava Dosa. Veng pongal and ghee roast was not great. Ambience is good. Staff were very friendly. All over enjoyed the experience.
