Situation in Mangalore this their ice cream is famous all over Karnataka, and it's like a retual to visit it.
There are a variety of ice creams like TIRAMISU, GADBAD and many more. They also have different milk shakes.
It's a place to chill with friends and family. You can also get some snacks here.
Service is also good as they are very humble.
Ambience is good, just like a normal hotel.

I live in Mumbai and everytime I visit Mangalore during vacations, Ideal Ice Cream parlour is definetely a go-to place for me!
Similarly, this time I visited it with my family and had a blast having different varieties of Ice-Creams. The Tiramisu has always been my favourite among the rest in the menu. Apart from that, Cake sandwich and Dilkhush too is a must try.
Keep up the good work! And I hope to see an Ideal Ice Cream parlour in Mumbai someday!
IDEAL ICE CREAM PARLOUR : One of the best ice cream parlour in Mangalore since decades. They are offering a wide variety of ice creams with authentic flavours. It’s a must visit place whenever we visit the town for either shopping , weddings, events or any other official works.
Ambience is decent with clean and neat seating area at the ground as well as first floor according to one’s comfort. It’s a lovely place to relax and have some quality time with family and friends enjoying our favourite Choice of ice creams.
My all time favourite is TIRAMISU.
There was disappointment that day when I had been to 2 restaurants earlier that day, I was hoping that this doesn’t turn out to be same. Unlike those 2, Ideals didn’t disappoint, but it made my day and I took the legendary Gadbad and it delivered 120%! The taste was fantastic! Must try and a regular try!

my all time favourite place for ice cream.... Anywhere you go... You can't find the taste like ideals... I am a great fan of their gud bud, n dil khush... veg. Burgers are just yummy.

Whenever I visit Mangalore I used to visit here too (not particularly this place, but any one of those places among several the ideal parlours in Mangalore).. I've Been a regular customer to have icecream here (ideals).. Each time I used to try different flavours of icecreams.. 😁

The cafe is well-known for its ice creams, and it definitely lives up to its reputation. The ice cream selection was incredible and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try something new and delicious.
A must visit in Mangalore. Whenever I come here I make sure to visit this place once. I had Parafait, Ideal's Special Gadbad and Ideal's Special. All of them tasted great. I would still prefer Parfait and Special Gadbad over everything as it feels worth the price. They put atleast 3-4 scoops of ice cream and lots of dry fruits, fruits and jellies along making it a perfect dessert to have.
This joint CLOSES at 8.30PM and not as shown in google at 9pm!!!
At 8.30pm they will direct you to nearby Ideal cafe but ideal cage service is slow..can take 15 min only for ice cream

One of the famous ice cream joints in Mangalore, traditionally has been famous all around India for its Gadbad icecream. This is located in the heart of the city, hence parking is a big problem here. One has to parking their vehicles ( four wheelers) at a far off distance and come walking to this place. They offer plenty of varity in icecreams and snacks which is what makes this place still popular. The place is clean and hygienic. Service is fast. Although, the taste of icecreams are not as good as the ones that are served at their other outlet 'Pabbas'. The prices have been increased drastically over the years. They accept online mobile wallet payment methods also. All in all, its been a good experience. Would surely recommend.
Great place, the food was delicious... I ordered Dry Fruit Cocktail and Swiss Chocolate, they were bomb... Clean and friendly environment... Kids will love it...
Quick service. Quality ice creams. Family friendly environment. Gadbad was just not like how it is but apart from that all the ice creams were good.
